Well some places will do it beyond the legal limit but they wont hold up to them doing the work if you get in trouble, and the 5% isnt as bad as you think. I had it on my previous car and you could still see behind you.

i think if u go diferent % on the front and rear it would looks weird. so i would make em both the same % and have the hatch darker dan the front, and rear.

I realized that the rear window already has a thick black line around it, so keeping it the same as the front really has no point since there's already a solid black 3" line around the rear window.

Therefore, after seeing my friend's 35-18-18, I'm leaning towards 35-10-10 or 35-15-10.

Bro I just had my windows tinted today, ask if they have CARBON 45. It looks darker than 35% but registers as 37% on the meter(the shop showed me with their measure gun)

I forgot to mention that the reason why it looks darker is because their are carbon specks in the tint.(No you cant see specks) but it does cause interference if you have an alarm/remote start transmitter on your window.

Sorry for the late response. Yup those r 35-5-5. Honestly u can only really tell the tint level difference when your up close to the car. I love the way it looks i wouldn't have it any other way. I have gotten stopped by the cops before because they thought i had limo tints all around because the darker rear windows just give a darker look inside the car in general. But everything was still all good, since i was still within the legal limit.

Do not get 5% on the rear windshield you can't see crap out of it at night and its not really worth it. I've had cars with 5% on the rear windshield and it was more of a pain than anything. I have 15% on my tib and its dark enough to keep people from seeing to much fo my trunk and I can still see out of it at night

My jeep was 5% and I hated it. I felt like I was driving around in a cave even during the day. It was way too dark.

I have 5% in the back window and i see just fine through it, i don't know why there are all these complaints about them. I guess everyone has there own preference...

all I know is that If it were me tinting, I would be pissed if someone came to me with 3 different tints they wanted. just more rolls to get out and measure up to cut. Just remember when backing up, u don't want the back to be too dark, but the small windows on the sides don't matter hardly at all.

Well. I save myself a bunch of money then... I put my own tints on ... i kinda taught myself and they come out well if u know how to be a little patient. I have my windshield with no tint. Sides are 5% and back is 35%

oh by the way ... yea these guys do bug me for it... :mm4l: ill get stopped like once every 6-9 months more or less soo i just remove the sides ( the only illegal ones ) i get home and slapem back on LoL. I get a roll of tints for like 10$ so w/e.

Yea same here full red-outs(no reverse light) ftw!, and Honestly not 1 cop has ever said anything about that to me, Never mentioned the red-outs at all. Only when i went to get my inspection asked about my full red-outs.

Anyone know if it's illegal in NJ for them to search your car without a warrant? Also if you tell the cop it's illegal and he does it anyway, is it fightable in court?

well theres no way the side windows should b different shades
so 35-35 there.

and the Tiburon already has a dark interior so I myself went with 35 on all and its dark as hell but just lite enough to keep me out of tickets

No need to play chicken with the cops. The hassle isn't worth it.
