I don't know what it is about it, but I don't particularly like this car anymore. I got this in august for 16,999 and I'm probably done with about 2k of payments. Is there anyway I could get my dream car, a 350z (or any silvia)? Would I have to pay as much as the car is worth in payments and then trade it in? (Because the car's depreciation value is annoying)

why didnt you just buy a 350z instead of the tib in the first place?

From what I know....if you're really good at words and such, you could ask the dealership to pay off the Tib in exchange of a car bought from that dealership....I've heard it done like ONCE but I dunno @.@

Unfortunately your going to have to get over it, because they're really is no way out of it.

I almost felt the same way one day...but that was only because I wished that I had researched more before buying. I needed a car ASAP and had a buyer waiting for me to delivery my old car. So, I bought what was on the lot.

Now that I've gotten over that feeling, I'm enjoying it alot. Tiburons are great cars, learn to enjoy yours.

your def gonna be upside down on whatever you get...a dealer never does an even trade and if for some strange reason they do youll get a car thats a few years older with tons more miles than your trade in...my 08SE blue books for 14 900....with 20k in excellent condition so my depreciated almost 10 000 in 2 years as i paid 23 900 for it

Yeah I'm planning on a 2005 350Z with decent mileage. My car right now only has 6000 miles. I'm fine with being upside down, but I'm not fine being upside down over this car.

WHAT....

anyways like spark falls said....learn to like it!!

I really don't want to bust your bubble, but you need to reconsider your dream car (350Z). I would suggest that you look up the issues pretaining to the Nissan 350Z and costs involved. Your daily grind is going to get old a lot quicker in that (2) seater coupe. It's an expensive a$$ vehicle new and drops 50% in value pretty quickly. Sure, it's a fast, handling little piece of machinery, but there are many problems associated with it. I read up on a lot of the coupes before I bought my Tib, but then again, I like styling over power anyways. It's your call.

There are very few problems with the 350Zs. I don't know what you read. The VQ35 is an outstanding engine. The value of any car, these days, drops fast. It is partly due to the rapid expansion of technology. I want you to list "many" examples of the problems you've supposedly read up on.

Google "Nissan 350Z problems" and look the damn thing up yourself Mr. Thread Cop. I was merely pointing out like issues between the (2) vehicles. Your statement is nothing more than an opinion based on a desire to add chatter and post whoring to any posted subject.

I'm all over Nissan boards because I own a Nissan and my dad has a 350Z. List these said problems, if you know so much because there are not "many" common problems.

I know one common problem with all 350z cars, their owners are USUALLY douche bags with egos rated higher than their cars hp.. just like srt4 guys sooo.... yea. Other than that its a great car with its only mechanical problem being over heating of engine oil and tranny fluid in time attack races and under rated stock brake pads. Its in pretty much all tuner mags so im not going into a crap ton of detail to entertain anyones infallibility

Exactly. Every car has their problems. But the 350Z does not have MANY common problems. And both of the problems you listed are simple fixes. They certainly have far less problems than the Tiburon.

I completely agree trust me i know im an 03 owner lol... err.. Tell u what, boost it and stop crying about hating ur slow but sexy tiburon..
