so the other day me and my friends had a discussion about the toyota celica vs Hyundai Tib what do you think about this your pros and cons?

those were great, but the 03-newest ones fail compared to an IHE tib. i think thats what the original post was about... the GT-four was a rally inspired special, and was 2 or 3 generations before the tib.
the older turbo ones will spank a stock tib, LOL. not sure if they made a 'vert turbo. heres one that will hike up its skirt and pound any tib ever in the butt sideways with 427AWHP

We actually never got the 94-99 body style gt4(all-trac in america) Would explain why you couldn't find one lolI was actually trying to find a 98 before i bought the tib, but because the build is so good for that generation, no one sells or parts with them. Like the tib, there is no reason why the celica has to be a chick car. I think this GT4 looks hella flush.

I always wanted a 90-93 all-trac. 221hp and 224tq with the 3S-GTE(same as MR2 turbo motor) They didn't look too bad and I'm a sucker for pop-up headlights lol
Especially this widebody one! Needs bigger wheels though.

I tried to find a cheap Celica with this body style 94-99? but i couldn't find any cheap enough with lowish miles.I was actually trying to find a 98 before i bought the tib, but because the build is so good for that generation, no one sells or parts with them. Like the tib, there is no reason why the celica has to be a chick car. I think this GT4 looks hella flush.

GT-S has180 bhp at 7600 rpm, and they are kinda light, i think it does beat Tib gt's. They also came with 6 speeds.

Hell no.. All i had was an intake and i pooped on that gts's life from the dig. He did catch me off the line but as soon as i shifted to 2nd it wasnt even a race anymore.

That widebody 5th gen looks like balls.
If we're comparing the GK to the 7th gen:
Celica pros:
Better fit and finish, better overall quality
Better mileage, more athletic handling and steering
Celica cons:
Looks like stretched out wedge
has zero torque
expensive in its day
Tiburon pros:
Better bang for buck (IMO)
Far more sophisticated looks
Nicer interior design
More torque/muscle
Tiburon cons:
Slightly slower in a drag race and around turns (Tib GT vs. GT-S)
On the subject of celicas, I think the 5th gens look the best, and yes I'm a sucker for pop up headlights too. But I'd still most like to have a 3rd gen celica with a 2jz swap. I bet none of you knew celicas used to be rwd...maybe 03redtuscani because he has an s14.
