It gives our crew bad rep in the import scene blockIng people in. But. I enjoy Monty but if u guys wanna do the other streets. Tramway is good. As for myself. I can't do interstate in the tib. But paseo is good for me to. But what ever we decide to do is good.

you should get the pins for your hood man.
Yeah so, new rule. don't block people in...hell, just don't race them. if they wanna race, take it to the track

Oh i agree Its been on my mind to get hood pins but I keep
Shrugging it off. That wud be cool to be an under cover cop in a modded tib and pull people over for racing.
The track would be fun for me but they wont let me do runs on it. I have a trunk mounted battery. Tracks use NHRA drag rules and for a battery mounted other than the stock location I would need a kill switch mounted on the outside of the vehicle thats accessable that would kill the battery, altenator, fuel pump, and starter.
Got another head coming in this week so I'll be MIA for a minute while I get head work started.
No one will touch my cylinder head in this town except one guy I know and another in moriorty who Im going to. Dont understand why they're so afraid to work on them, port and polish that is.
Oh and just found out I made it as one of the top vehicle builds on streetkiaz.com if you guys check out the site after entering in just scroll down and on left side towards the middle bottom you can see Ericos spectra on there, if you click on the pic it brings you to my build thread. Gotta rep the kias out here some how, hehehe.
next step is ride of the month.

Oh, seems they're pretty strict on some things. I'm willing to bet i'd have to be 18 as well :3_steam:

I don't believe they're strict. Just rules for safety is all. Wether it's a 1000+HP car or a 100HP car safety is always first at all the strips. The rules are not as bad as you think, just when you start playing around with mods to much you gotta compensate for them in track situations.
Although the age thing may be an issue! Under 18 will probably need a note from mommy and daddy, hehehe.

my old one is up in abq now. I still meet up with the guy i sold it to from time to time and fart around. Mine was the first tib in NM with a ngm supercharger kit, or so I was told when i got it. loved that car, but i sold it and built an old 944 turbo porsche back up, and now i drive that and a truck.

the guy u sold your tib to still in abq? u shud get him on this thread. those 944 are pretty nice,

So on Saturday night the car club im in will be having a meeting at the sonic on montgomery, I dont know from what times we will be there. Maybe around 9 pm but ill make sure. Maybe if any of you guys are interested in checking out my ride youre more than welcome, if youre out there that night anyway. Just thought id tell you guys because even though i dont know any of you i feel pretty bad for not meeting up with you guys and stuff. I live all the way in the south valley so going to far away places to meet up and cruise around is something I dont really like to do, mostly because of gas money (i only work part time and i get crappy pay lol). I do check this forum everyday and never really post anything, I mostly just lurk around (as creepy as that sounds) because I dont really know how to navigate through this site and it frustrates me that I cant post any pictures of my car. So yeah if any of you guys are out that night and wanna check out my ride im cool with it. Thanks.

I honestly have no idea what were gonna do. This is the first meeting with them that isnt at the club presidents house so who knows how long well meet for or what were gonna do. So far all the meetings ive gone too weve just met at his house and just hung out.
yes he is still in abq. we talk occasionally. I've told him about NT but he hasn't signed up. The 944 is an I4, but they are very light, and my turbo model with upgrades is running right at 300HP, without sounding/looking like a cheap ricer. I consistently outrun turbo rx7's, evo's and sti's, and even hang with my cousins 06 corvette. I could get a little more out of it but wanted to keep the classic porsche look and feel.

really? dang he needs to get on this site, it wud be nice to get a tib out there on monty powning some sti's , i would s/c mine but i want it prestine for a daily, what color is it, ive seen some modded tibs around town, i may have run into him b4, u shud tell him about the tib crew we finally got organized, those 944 are nice, what color is it? and yeah its good to have a light car that makes 300hp easily, my 94 Talon tsi is all wheel drive turbo, got basic bolt ons and a nice fuel map, on 15 psi it makes an easy 300hp with no lag, spools up to full boost by 3.5k rpm, weighs about 2700lbs tho, but when i ran it back in highschool on sat nights, it ate sti's for lunch, evos on the other hand were a good match, rarely did i walk one, it was my first car and i still love it, the only reason ive held onto it is for winter use, the tib is my daily since the talon since 07 has had a lot of problems and frankly i didnt wanna blow 3-5k to get it purring like new, as long as it ran for a good 2 hours for winter driving, all i need, it certainly doesnt make it a worthy daily at all. so i took my money and bought the tib for a daily glad you decided to keep that classic porsche look, lately ive been thinking of just rebuilding the motor, do a 2.3 strocker and a GT44 turbo make it a nice drag car, but bot sure what ill do with it just yet, u ever hit it up monty? .

Mike! Remember when I noticed your HID's flickering? I forgot to tell you I saw them doing it again on our last cruise. I honestly think it's related to the battery - you should invest in a digital capacitor since your sound equipment is probably drawing some major wattage.
On my sound setup, I just got a 1 farad capacitor, and I haven't noticed any flickering or dimming on my HIDs.

Reply to "eriricos": my profile doesnt let me answer back the private messages you send me, but any way, the crews name is "Xtreme Stylz", I havent earned my sticker all the way yet because im still on the probation but im almost there. Theyre not like other clubs that just invite any random person and give him a sticker right away lol. so yeah hopefully we go to montgomery tonight and see whats up, i havent been there in years so hopefully the import car scene isnt crappy and just full of cocky muscle car guys...
