wasnt there a guy...maybe malagus (sp) or someone who had 210whp on a NA? If so how come we havent seen these numbers before?

Excellent encouragement for the N/A guys and def an achievement for sure...first 13 second N/A tib...that can't ever be taken away. Bada$$ and congrats!!!
 
that's awesome!!! that's the goal i'm going for!!! i'm almost done breaking in my clutch and L/W flywheel now and i have my cams sitting here waiting to be installed for this summer. i hope after i install my cams and L/U IM's and tune my car i will be in the 13 second club as well... we'll see...

yes malogus made something around there, but on the small crower cams. You will get better peak horsepower off the smaller cams with stock heads, however the reason I am running better times is because I am carrying the power all the way to 7300 rpms, whereas the crower cams die out in power slowly.

Yeah he did. But the car was sold and is now in New York. Actually my buddy has it and is being stored right now. He wants to sell it this spring but I really want to get the thing to make a faster pass than 13.99... We brought it to the track last summer but due to bald tires the runs were terrible since it spun the whole way down the track.

Yep, I regard my cams as Stage 1.5 regarding NGM's specs for their Stage I and II.

While the Stage I's seem to start dropping off around 6800 RPM's, and your Stage II carry all the way to 7300 RPM's I suspect mine will probably be around that 6900-7000 point.

I will need to get my car dynoed sometime before summer so I can see where the exact curve is with mine.

You though are just going too fast for us other guys regarding modding to keep up with lol. You are "pulling" on us.. Go take a breather, let us catch up. :3_headsha :3_wink:
 
some guy on a probe site i'm on said he ran a yellow tib and it was running consistant 14.0's. . . .i'm assuming they are on NT? He said the mod list is I/H/E and a "custom IM" which im guessing is the st.4 NGM. . . .he also said he was running slicks. . . . .i'm also betting he had cams and a good tune. Just thought this was an appropriate thread for this lol. :3_winkthu

I can't run slicks on my car yet, i wouldnt get off the line! He's a pretty nice guy though, probe runs hard as hell! He was standing in line the whole night and kept asking me what I was running, the whole night i was trying to get used to the radials, then finally did... didnt see him after the 13 run though...

yea his white probe is a monster. . . .he has beat some very quick cars on the street. I use to have a probe with a KLZE swap that's why i shoot over to their forum every once in a while and i noticed his thread about the cars that was at his local track and saw the tibby so had to post! lol. . . .but awesome time man and thanks for inspiring the N/A guys :3_winkthu

Yeah I talked to the guy with the white probe last night. He told me to tell you to give you props. He wants to come out and go heads up with his MX6 since that would be a great head to head battle!!!!

What did you launch at? 2500RPMs? Did you go WOT to 7300 RPM's in first or no? Damn good launch.

actually with the radials I launched at 4,500 rpm and revved the motor to 7,300 (had TC make the limit higher so i can rev to 7,300 without hitting a limiter)
