I have 225/45/17s on the stock rims on my 07 SE. Not only do they fit fine, but they improved the ride, handling and traction noticeably.

 

i agree have that size my self on stock 17's fits just fine

 

That's the size I'm going to get when it comes time to get new tires.

 

I was thinking about going with that size but wonder if it'll rub due to the KYB's and Eibach Pros?

 

You might. In fact, I know I will because of my ~2" drop from the DT-P coilovers. I'm gonna have to raise the car up a bit then get a new alignment. :3_headsha But, 225-mm is hard to pass up for more grip/traction. :3_winkthu

BTW, herb, are you still "maybe" about the May 10th GMR meet?

 

herb I'm on 17" x 7" rims (stock size), 40 offset, with the 225/45 and Ark springs (1.3" F, 1.3" B) and have no rubbing issues. I can't remeber if the prokits are the 2" or 1.1" drops... but this gives you a bit of reference

 

Kewl thanks! The Eibachs are a 1.1 drop. I'll have to look up my rims again to get the numbers, I got Motegi's when I bought the car.
