i call BS on that estimate. There is no way I would pay that much. Granted I am assuming that there is no body damage just paneling. If that is the case i am sure that you could find a parts car somewhere and get things replaced for a whole lot less. I could be completely wrong though.

Deer hits ain't no joke.
Looks like hood, fender, door, headlight, bumper, some suspension bits, looks to of bent the front support.
Then labor, paint, etc.

$4500 is a low end estimate for sure.

Glad you're ok. A few nights ago I almost hit an aligator in the road.

seriously? I've heard of hitting deer, moose, bunnies, lizards, snakes, people even. But an alligator??? I would have stopped and taken a picture lol

back on topic, glad your ok and they didn't total the car, did the airbags go off??

Did bambi survive? A buddy of mine smacked a deer one night. When the police came out the deer was screaming and hadn't died yet so the cop pulled out his glock and put a few in its head :3_sadley:

Funny or just plain typical, Australia is full on Kangaroo warning signs. These bastards treat your car like a video game at night. Trying to test your skill and vision by going out their way to hop across the road when they see you coming.

"Oh a Tibby? That just may kill us both! Get him!"

Recently heard a story about a group of people who were in a car wreck and some were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car. If youve ever been to south Florida, you know there are places where the water/marsh isnt far from the road. In this case, the cops who showed up had to fight the local gators to get the people parts back. Sounds like a good enough reason to wear seat belts in FL and LA!

I'm fine and new headlight, bumper, fender, hood, wire replacement, grill mounts, inner fender splash, fog light, frame is a little bent, and they wanted to paint half the car bc the deer scratched down the side of car, but talked them into full body paint job and a new cold air intake...that's all I know about but there may be smaller stuff that I dunno about

No wonder the damage cost so much, 65 mps is far too fast for any road!!!
