I just installed LED strips in my front door speakers and in my rear speakers, it looks really good, but I'd like to make it so it looks like one beam of light, as opposed to a series of Led's in the door speakers it isn't as noticeable but in the rear ones you can really see all the led's and tell its an led strip, so I've read a few DIY's on here and noticed for the led conversion. To filter the hotspots they used frosted scotch tape, I'm guessing that would probably work but it'd be a pain in the *** to put 7-9 layers of tape of my led's also it would probably show at that point, so my main question is does anyone know of a better/easier way of making the solid beam of light look for my blue led's? Is there maybe a spray paint of some sort thats like a clear coat with a frosted finish?
