Cut it yourself. I did on mine and it worked just fine. Make some marks on the pipe where you want to cut it then put it in a vice and cut it. Just make sure to put a towel in there so that the vice doesn't put marks in the paint.

on my CAI i installed my bypass valve, i was kinda nervous but its simple... just make sure you install it between your air filter and the MAF sensor... it fits right under the fusebox on the V6 tibs... mark the straight part of the pipe and cut 1.75" out the pipe.. before you saw make sure you put masking tape where you are gonna cut and mark the top of the tape.. the tape us there to keep the paint from flaking off and used a metal hacksaw cutter.. and go at it... then when you are done, use a fine sandpaper or even ebony file to angle tip sand the inside of the pipe to get a nice smooth edge... anymore questions let me know.... :3_winkthu

Yep, a good 'ol hacksaw and some elbow grease.

 

I used a pipe cutter from work :3_winkthu

 

BPV is a waste in my opinion. I've been doing just fine for 6 months or so without it. (Knock on wood)

 

vise, hacksaw, and sandpaper here. Takes 5 minutes.

I agree. I've yet to see these experiments that discredit BPVs. There's no doubt that it's FULL proof, but I'm sure it would work in most instances a filter was submerged
