i can get two different kinds, and they are both exspensive.....

one kind is the typical 1x1 sqaure c/f look.... 15" x 1 yard is 20 plus shipping to me, plus shipping to you . plus fees imo i wouldnt go with this one


the other is called a decorative authentic carbon FIBRE( yes i spelled it right). it says its a more realistic look, and from the tiny *** pic in the catalog it looks to be like the 2x2 twill weave look(like my mission plates).- 15"x 1 yard is 15 plus shipping to me, plus shipping to you, plus fees

Both say for use on flat applications.

 

flat = no good though.

thats the same stuff, which will work best on flat applications. and by flat, they dont mean like bookcover flat, but just one curve. if you understand that.......

 

hmmm. so would i be able to do what im wanting to do with that vinyl? the vents and piece around the shifter are the only ones im owrrked about

 

it would be extremly difficult to do around the shifter..... the center vents would also be incredily hard to do

 

is this with any vinyl or just this one? do u have s/n? it would be alot easier, lol

I bought a roll of this on ebay and did my trim panel with it. Turned out great.

 

Get it wrapped in carbon fiber. You can send your peices out to various companies and the will vaccuum wrap your peices and clearcoat them just like a hood. Fibercation, compact Divisions, and top shop headliners are just a few of them.

I have a roll for sale of real carbon fiber with 3m adhesive on it. 2x2 weave. .

looks identical to my carbon fiber VIS hood. thick clear coat.
right now its a 36"'x38" sheet that im selling for $150 shipped , I paid $180. was supposed to do my crx roof but the curvature didnt work. I thought about splitting up the sheet into 9 12"x12" pieces and selling them for $21 shipped a piece.

You lose some clarity resizing pictures. It looks good in person.

thats real carbon fiber. looks nothing like vinyl imitation. maybe from like 5ft away. it can bend around a 2" pipe max. def not for small trim pieces though. better for flat application like a mission plate , or a glove box, or something.
