Will it work for an 06 SE? v6?

I don't think it will. From what I have read, they work on the earlier 03 and late 02 builds.

2003 Tiburon with the 2.7L V6 Engine. It works with the 5 speed manual transmission in vehicles built up TO March 2003 and the 6 speed transmission up to January 2003. you can get the build date for you car in the driver's side door jam normally. Its a 215mm (8.5 inches) disc and the spline is 7/8"-20.

To my understanding this flywheel will not fit any V6 Tiburon. That was a mistake on Fidanza's part.

 

You have something to back that up? Why would Fidanza produce a flywheel for 4 or 5 years if it did not work? to save face? gimme a break.

Can the clutch be bought separately? I have an 04, and a Fidanza HY5 FW will only fit mine. Thinking about a Centerforce clutch sometime soon, and then save up for the FW.

Its the Dual Friction clutch. Unless you are throwing down some serious HP (400+), the CFDF is a great clutch. I had one in awd my talon that put down 340hp to the wheels. It had 40k on it when I sold the car.

Both parts are still available. My brother in law's was built mid to late 2003. I may have already said somewhere in this post. Willing to make a deal for both units. Would really like to see them gone.

Ok...I definitely would like to purchase the clutch setup. I am still trying to get a definitive answer on the flywheel. I have seen many different views on which one will properly fit my car. Mine was built Nov 2002....don't know if you can shed any light on this situation for me. I've seen people say that the HY-3 fits theirs and some say the HY-5 fits theirs, and both have a build date close to what mine is:3_confuse (within a couple months).

 

If this is the clutch you need, then chances are this is probably the flywheel you need too. If you buy both, I can do it for $500 shipped (and shipping won't be cheap!).
