First, figure out where the issue is.....
Run the steering wheel to a lock.....then count turns to the other lock......crank wheel back 1/2 way.....is wheel centered?
Yes.....adjust toe (add to one side, subtract from other.....test drive to see if car tracks straight with wheel straight).
No....may need to pull wheel off steering shaft, center, reinstall.....road test.

Biggie is to check steering wheel versus centered on rack (step one in this post)......

Do what Charlie says but instead of pulling wheel off you can disconnect the shaft from the rack near the pedals. Much easier.

Initially I thought I'll get away without Toe adjustment and just loosen few bolts and center the wheel. Will need a weekend for this.

Make sure that you are really careful. The column is keyed. If you misalign it it won't go all the way on and will bind when you turn

 

Everyone here has gone crazy, guiding you to tear your car apart. You said it is just a little crooked correct?? Don't do anything to the steering shaft! nor anything under the dash. .... If you need to turn the wheels a little bit to left to go straight down the road , and that makes your steering crooked, then simply put you need to adjust the steering linkage so that the linkage turns the wheels to the left a little bit not your steering wheel.
If your car is within alignment , you just need to be sure that you turn both sides the same amount. If you have to turn your steering wheel to the left to make the car go straight what you need to do is turn the steering linkage show that that turns the steering wheels to the left. She look closely at the threads break the lock nut loose and turn the inner tie rod end such that the left tire turns to the left a little bit and then go over to the right side and do the same to it make it turn to the left a little bit now you won't have to turn the steering wheel to the left to make the car go straight it's already been adjusted into the car. I hope that helps it's really simple . And a little bit goes a long way you're probably talking half a turn or 3/4 of a turn.

 

My one was pritty bad, once i took it off, i didn't want to put it back in that condition, looked around for used one, but all were crappy, looked around google, found this website that customizes and refurbishes steering wheels. They quoted me quite a lot for the job, but i had no choice, i've sent it off 2 weeks ago, they said it takes them a month or two before i will get it back... this is their website. I wil post before and after pics when i get it back.. i hope it's worth the money..
