Dipped mud guards

A couple of my factory mudguards have some slight damage and sunfade, so I recently purchased a complete new set for $20.

The type of plastic these are made from is guaranteed to fade eventually so I thought why not try plastidip on them? In the attached pic the top one has about 4 coats of plastidip. After it dried I treated it with 303 Aerospace Protectant which takes away that slightly tacky feel plastidip has as well as giving it UV protection. It also gives it some shine for more of a satin look.

303 can be applied to anything... the stuff is amazing.

The aerosol cans of plastidip don't have any UV protective additives. If you want the application to last as long as possible I recommend treating it with 303. Just remember that it will slightly darken and shine the plastidip.
