$60 for the 3 runs is cheap every where else wanted 80-100

 

Sorry but that's not a very good deal. That's what I used to pay at Extreme Motorsports for 3 pulls and that was with just me making a regular apointment. It used to only cost me $80 for a full hour on the dyno and they would let me tune it myself in that time. They need to drop the price to more like $30-$40 for 3 pulls for a large group before I'd be interested.

 

ok so if you can do better go for it. no wants to dyno 20+ cars and is centralized for everyone.

 

Why the hell wouldnt they want to dyno 20+ cars? Its all about exposure for the shop.

 

unfortunately i agree with those who said that it was a bit pricey. See if you can negotiate with them. And this prize that you speak of? What is it? Will this be provided by ISP or you or someone?

 

ok i will rent the shop for 8 hours 800 put up as many as possible but if only 10 show im out the money any one else want to front up the money....

This is MD, people don't come to these things around here.lol I can't even 5 get people to show up at the track and that's only $20 for the whole night. haha They only like to race around cones in parking lots around here. im open to everyone on the forums plus friends right now we just need cars sti mustangs eclipes scion what ever but i would like to get at least 1 gen coupe

What track do you guys go to again? And what day?

 

We go to Capitol Raceway and Friday nights is when they have an open test and tune. I don't think I'll be going again until next year though.

 

look guys its a lot of work to push 20+ cars in 8 hours. no want to just give this away. in trying to work deals and willing to front the money for it but. if i dont get attendance whats the point. if you are all going to cry about money. see how much it is to make 3 runs buy your self 75-100 just for 3 or 4 pulls and no real time to tune tuniing time is 100 an hour. no one will let you tune for 30 dont be retarted. to get it to 40 buck i have to rent the shop and pay someone to run the machine. now if we get 25 cars and someone wants to goof off and play around i cant say we could get all the cars done. how do you feel if your number 25 and dont dyno.

 

For $40 ill go for 3 runs. Count me in as your first definite.

 

I will keep this day open. For now..put me under Tim's name. I'll be a definite for now but its to far out to make promises.

But as you calculated before, having 20 cars at 8 hours only leaves 24 mins for hook up, 3 pulls, get off of the dyno and get your AF print out. That is either going to be one hell of a fast employee or its not going to happen.

Out of curiosity, did you already pay them?

I think i'm going to say this from a neutral point of view. You are expecting 20 cars to dyno, but that means YOU need to guarantee that everyone will have dyno time before the shop closes.

 

tell the shop to stop being gay and just run 20 people for 800 bucks and we will do our best to be out of there asap...and by the way 5 people now to start out is not bad considering the "meet" isnt even for 2 more months...spread the word brother
