So after looking for a decent car in the past 2 months since my timing belt destroyed my engine in my 02 Jetta, I bought a 2008 Tiburon SE. She's black with black/red interior and it's everything I was looking for in a car. The cherry on the deal is she is still under factory warranty which is a HUGE relief. By the time I got out of the dealership I didn't have a lot of time to get pictures, with driving her and what not. But believe me once it's nice outside I'm getting pictures done.

Thanks guys. I've owned a Tib before, 2003 GT V6, and I desperately loved that car. Saved my life when I lost control and hit a guardrail. Broke my heart when I had to buy a different car but now that I'm back with a newer one and one that I like the color scheme, all's well that ends well.

Welcome from a fellow Newb, with an almost identical Tib. Beautiful car that FL/2. Someone told me yesterday that Tibs are addictive. You and I are both on our 2nd, so I guess there's some truth there. Anything you are planning to do to it in the near future?

This weekend I'm putting in a new headliner, which I think a black headliner would look so much better than a tan/black. That's all I'm doing until I get money saved up for more dramatic changes

It all depends on what I want to do with the visors and dome light cover, which are tan :3_nooo: I'm thinking red like the seats and door panels but we'll see. I don't see it being more than $40 for all parts tho.

Ha sorry. I believe I paid too much, 13,999. But I had a trade which is a 3,000 lb paper weight (timing belt ruined the motor, and dead battery) so it had to be local for dealer to get on a roll back. So my choices were very limited. But there is very little that I dislike about the car. My conditions were newer than an 03, preferably black, manual, low miles. This met and exceeded them so as long as I feel satisfied, the price is just a number to me
