Fog light bulbs keep burning out...

This is really frustrating me. Last year about this time I installed some HIDs. Then I hit a deer and had my front bumper replaced but I believe they used the original fog housings. Anyway, lately my fog bulbs keep burning out and I don't know why. I've replaced a few in the last few months. The last time it was my driver's side so I replaced it with my last good backup and now just a few days later the passenger side is now out. I'm assuming some sort of electrical issue which may or may not have to do with the HID install. Any suggestions?

Just for a bit more info....I do have the on-anytime mod and I use Luminics yellow bulbs.

Any other bulbs continuously going out? Do you keep your fogs on all the time? I'm assuming you aren't touching the bulbs. Check your alternator and make sure it's not putting out too much power, as that can blow headlights, which is typically a main symptom of an overpowering alternator.

No other bulbs are having issues. I do keep them on all the time, but I don't drive much. Not touching the bulbs.

I know that my battery needs replaced soon. I think when it was tested recently it was at 400 cold cranking amps and should be at 600. Would that make my alternator work harder and burn these bulbs out?

Try buying normal bulbs.

Wouldn't a bad fuse mean that neither would work at all? My problem is they keep burning out, I replace them, and one burns out again within several days. The driver's side still lights, so I wouldn't think a fuse is the problem, but I'm open to any ideas. Lighting is not my strong suit.

if there is a crack in the housing - water will get in there - bulb will blow.....had same issue with mine due to water penetration....i just dont use them anymore
