i found some benz emblams in a drawer...my benz got a boat in it...long story,but ihave the emblams and there 300 a peice...who thinks i should put them on the tib?

a cop asked me for the registration for the mitsubishi while handing me my hyundai tiburon registration back(im completely debadged) I had to open the door and show him the mfg tag on the sil before he would go do his fvcking job.

I've had stupid girls tell me it looked like an eclipse (from a distance).

But other than that, I used to deliver pizzas for Papa John's, and I've never had so many compliaments. All the other guys drive beaters and stuff for delivering, I drive an 06 Tib... lol. (thats why i dont work there anymore though)

But yeah, I'd always get the "nice ride" while I'm handing them the pizza. And to top it off Papa John's is located right next door to a really nice restaurant called Chops (pretty expensive dinner place) where you find the guys driving XLRs, BMWs, etc. I cannot count the number of times I've been standing outside smoking a cigarette and have the guy who drive the BMW come up and look at my car and say, "Well thats a nice look car" and other things along those lines.

But of course, you'll get the douche who'll say, "Wow, nice car. Hyundai?" *walk away*


Edit: Almost forgot. Once I was out on a delivery out about 10-15 mins away from the store, on my way back and i'm on a long road so I'm cruisin along and I see an impala comin up in the right lane (i'm in the left) so I slow down to do the usual inspection of whether it's a cop or not. This is the only impala i've been wrong about. So i get side by side with the guy, ehh, doesnt really look like a cop, so I start to go a little bit faster, but not too much. 4-5 miles down the road we're back towards the city goin through stop lights, and i have to get back in the right lane, but this impala is stayin right next to me whether i slow down or speed up, then i look over, and the guy flashes a flashlight through my window (while we're driving). So i'm thinkin this guy is just bein a dick cuz he has an impala tryin to be real cool so I downshift and squeeze in front of him and i go to turn into the parking lot and all of a sudden the lights from behind his grill light up.

He gets out and comes up to my window
"Where are you goin that you need to be right this second?"
"Umm, to work?"
"You're in your car, you're not going to work" (it's about 9:30/10pm)
So i tip my hat and show him my papa johns hat (I dont put the sign on my car)
So then he's like "This thing new?"
"Yeah"
"How many miles you got on it?"
"umm, xxxxx"
"Very nice, well you be careful out delivering pizzas"

Then again, in FW cops are real cool with all the delivery drivers for the most part. I've been pulled over 2 or 3 times speeding and haven't gotten a ticket cuz i've been on the job.

i've got a bone stock white 05 gt with just a flying H badge on the back. i hand clean it every day.
getting an oil change and the guy who owns the shop says "did you have that painted custom?"; couldn't believe it was a stock paint job ( and hyundai paint sucks =P ).
walking to the parking lot with 2 girls from class and one asks "what is that thing you drive, a ferrari or lamborghini?"
i've had lots of other people randomly guess at it being a lexus or acura...
more than comments i love the fact that people are scared to race me because they don't know what the car is.
last friday at sunset on a straight shot highway i pass a modded camaro with the top down driving quite fast, he and his passenger just stare at me as i pass.
oh yeah, at a car wash i've had people boggle at the car and ask what it is, what it costs, but the best was some guy in a modded vw came over asking if my FL headlights were custom. most people dont even know that the tibs have a FL

I havent even gotten my Tuscani emblems yet (they are on their way) and i have a lot of people asking me "wow your spoiled kid!"

or the classic one when i was walking to my car before i graduated and a whole bunch of girls around my car saying, " I think this is the italian foreign exchange students car!" Then i walk up and unlock the doors and say , "Nah i dont think so he wouldnt beable to afford one" lol!

i have people come out and are like WTF is a tuscani and i tell them its a hyundai and they are so shocked...

someone at Dobbs while they were changing my oil was like man that car has a sick body kit and i love the dual exhaust on it too...and i was like buddy its stock thats how they come.

i was driving with a crazy bowls and wraps in my hand and some black dude ask me what kind is that and i was like crispy buffalo and hes like no the car...lol...i have not idea...is it the new porshe and i was like nope its a hyundai.

me like: wowh! maseratis are really rare - so i ran out to watch it.
i was pretty pissed when i saw nothing but my tib standing outside.
kk, so i walked back in and told him: "yeah, that maserati is awsame - do you know it's mine?"
he like W T F ? ? ? this is yours?!?
and me: yeah, bought it used.
he: how much have you paid? 45000, 50000 (EUROS!!)?
me: nah, about 60 grands.
he: yeah, ok, it is a maserati, so it may be worth it.
after about 15 minutes listening to him telling me how nice maseratis are, i told him it is a hyundai.

The best have to be the people that try to ask while they are doing something else and end up with a problem...
A week back a lady was walking towards the front of the walmart and I was driving through the lanes, and she was asking me what it was as I was rolling along and she was walking, and as she wasn't watching where she was going, not noticing the kart return comming up and walked right into it...

I've had people at gas stations ask me what it is and what I do for work....

I've gotten pulled over 3 times by the cops thinking it was stolen. (there's a story for ya right there)

People on the highway constantly roll down their windows and try to yell to me to ask me what it is.

Such great looks, I'd never trade them!

i dont get very many comments like that cause there is a lot of tiburons around, but i went up to a pretty small town to camp and i see this old guy and his wife walk by looking at it, and i am used to that, but then they turn around and come back and im like oh god, what kind of car is this? im like its a hyundai tiburon, its rebadged to what its called in korea, oh, i bet this thing is pretty quick, and im like, not really, and i proceeded to let him sit in it cause he wouldnt go away, and the way he was talking, he wasgoing to be headed to a hyundai dealership to buy himself a 07 tiburon, haha

i was at wawa couple yrs ago right after i got my car and this guy who comes into my work ( i work down the street from the wawa in my neighborhood) was like "wow, nice mustang" i looked at him and was like, "nah, think again. its a hyundai tiburon." and ever since then everytime he sees me he always has to say how nice my car is. and of course everytime im at the mall or somewhere and girls walk by, they always gotta say nice car, what is it? lol, sometimes i get tired of telling people what i drive cuz that'll all the ask!

oh and the best, when i was getting my window tint done, i had the guys at the audio shop that do the tint believing i actually had a real tuscani. they just kept going on about how they havent done a tuscani yet. i just didnt say a word.

oh, i got another good one. me and my friend were just done filling gas up in my car at the local wawa and there were these 4 hott *** chicks in a benz that sped up right behind me as i was about to turn out and they honked their horn. so they signaled me to come back so i pull into a spot and they pull up next to me and couldn't stop staring and complimenting my car. after a lil while of talking we eventually parted ways. of course, got all their numbers :3_winkthu
