IF you are korean who are tired of hearing chinese folks telling you that koreans are chinese, and that the two races are brothers, heres a real good news to prove them wrong, AGAIN.

University research shows that korean DNA is nearly identical to Mongolian and Japanese.
However Korean DNA is VERY DIFFERENT from chinese DNA , despite the physical similarities.

Personally I have no doubt about mongolians being our bretheren and all, but japs?....ehh...
Koreans ARE physically superior to all other races in asia...so that's something you should be proud of... not smarter...but at least taller and better looking.... :biggrin:


p.s: Korea's average IQ ranked #2 in the world, next to HongKong...
Singapore was right under korea...and...germany and intaly and austria got 5th place...
U.S...not even in ranks.. china ...not in top10... Japan...not in mentionable ranks...
But this only means koreans get tutored a ****ing lot more than other guys..

iq doesn't mean jack ****....it's just a ratio of mental age/chronolgical age...it's not an absolute value of intelligence...nevertheless i'm korean so I still think koreans rule over anyothe asians

 

IQ does mean something.

For example, let's say 2 students with different IQ number are studying for a final exam. And they all put in same amount of effort.
Guess who will get better score ..? One student with higher IQ..

High IQ means your ability to learn is more efficient and speedy in the areas related to your interest. Esp. Math.

If the 'same amount' of effort was enough for the student with lesser IQ to complete his studies, then there would be no score difference.

Plus people with high IQ are not 'smart'. That part, you have to work on your own.

I've seen fools brag about their 135+ IQ and still act like a dumb ****..
Trust me..I went to a HS like that in korea...
It makes you wonder a lot~ about IQ.....it really does.... haha

I was basing my statement on my personal experience.
I have IQ of 138 and one of my friend had over that.

As some of you might know, in korea, we high school student has to take midterms and finals.
Every time we take these tests, this guy always gets higher score than me and ranked 1 in my class..

And your statement about koreans being tutored and koreans being not as smart, you are wrong. When comparing same age of korean student and american student, I can bet $1 that korean student will be far knowledged than american one..

Do you have a problem with korean people getting tutored? I lived in Seo Cho Dong till my 8th grade in Korea, and i know what u mean by lots of korean people get tutored and ****. But So what? Are you mad cuz u could not compete with korean people with tutoring?

i think kdm is smoking crack (period) end of story. dude i.q. is a single # calculated to represent a person's intelligence (yes I agree w/ u, but u should seriously stop smoking crack). there are so many variables that defines what intelligence means in different parts of the world. i.e. some might say bill gates, einstein, wayne and oprah winfrey are equally intelligent in their own ways, careful what u say about things like this...there are so many different types of intelligence i.e. fluid intelligence, crsytallized intelligence, multiple intelligence and sternberg's intelligence...read about it more if u're still confused man, or e-mail me i'll help u understand :'(
