Hey Lab what was your home address again? Just wondering, o and you are going to put all of that stuff back into the box and leave it in a nice convenient place where I will be able to find it when I break into your house right? J/K, no really I am kidding, please don't call the cops.

Hope to see this **** on the car and running sometime soon, but you are still waiting for parts, so maybe by Sept.

by september? If you mean next month... yeah, we hope. ;)

This has been a long awaited day for all of us involved in this. According to Bill, who warned me before this got going that is was going to take more than a month (didnte know he meant 2.5 months), has said taht each proceeding kit should now only take 2 weeks per kit. Once this gets going and we figure out where we can improve the kit and where the strong points are, we will probably start a group buy to get a good price again. The price is planned to go up dramattically unless he can produce multiple kits at once from here on out.

Good luck Lab!

TE04H eh? hekept telling me TD04h, funny

I'll ahve to go find the compressor map for it now.
TD04H and TE04H is the turbine wheel designation. The flow maps you see online are for the compressor wheels, not the turbines (although Garrett has been publishing turbine flow maps for their GT series lately)

As for the compressor wheel, it's a B or C wheel, likely a 12B or 13C. Although i personally think any TD04 is too small for this application, i really doubt they'd have gone as small as a 9B compressor.

Whatever it is, it's not very big. It'll run out of compressor and turbine flow at high rpm, probably falling on it's face by 5000 or 6000rpm. It should give you full boost by 2500 though, maybe even as low as 2200.

Nick, been a while. How have you been?

I assume that this will be alright within the factory redline. Many people think that going above the factory redline on the BETAII is a bad idea due to piston speed anyways, since it is a decently long stroke engine. So as long as the top end is satidfying for Lab, i dont think he is going to worry too much.

How is your AWD Eclipse (i hope i remembered that right) treating you? any sideways acceleration lately?

Congrats on finally getting some parts in! :3_zoefzoe

Can't wait to see the whole kit when it comes...

Anybody know of the status of the kit if another member would like to buy one? Price/wait?
email me or call me. PM me and i will give you my business cell number.

The wait, according to Bill will no longer be bad, anywhere from 2-3 weeks (+ shipping time)depending on the people that he sublets to.
