What Is The Best Performance Or After Market Clutch Out There. I Don't Want To Spend More Then $500. So I Am Looking For The Best Bang For The Buck. I Have An O3' , 6 Speed , With 70,000 Miles On It And It's Staring To Go.

ok here is the stupid question. Am I going to get 70,000 or more miles out of the Spec and or Ripp clutch like I did with the stock clutch? Also with the Spec clutch what stage should I buy and do they come with the fly wheel.
Thank you in advance

If you only want to spend $500 on a clutch, you're kind of screwed- a bunch of us got VHR clutch kits in a group buy for like $600, and that's the least expensive I've seen with the flywheel included. If you're changing the clutch, you're going to have to do the flywheel at the same time, since it's probably bad anyway.
I think the VHRs are normally like $780 shipped from K spec- otherwise you're looking at over a grand in parts. The big difference is the VHR uses a lightweight forged steel flywheel, and everyone else uses the aluminum Fidanza.
I've seen quite a few complaints from people here about Spec clutches- I'd do a search on here for exactly what they were, so you can see for yourself.
Just my 2 cents- good luck.

So what clutch is the best VHR, Clutchmasters, Spec, Centerforce, or Valeo. What clutch will give me the best bang for the buck. Remember that I got 70k out of the stock clutch. I don't plan on doing any engine mods anytime soon. I think the centerforce clutch was like $580. I hear some good things about them.

I apologize in advance folks - i just had to do it

Base on Huey Lewis and The News Lyrics of i what a new drug :3_coool:

I want a new clutch
One that won't make me slip
One that won't make me crash my car
Or make me feel shifting kicks

I want a new clutch
One that won't hurt my head
One that won't make my car bog down
Or make my tires burn threads

One that won't make me nervous
Wondering what to do
One that makes me feel like I feel when I'm with you
When I'm alone with you

I want a new clutch
One that won't spill my drink
One that don't cost too much
And comes with a flywheel

I want a new clutch
One that won't go away
One that won't keep me up all night
One that won't make me slip all day

One that won't make me nervous
Wondering what to do
One that makes me feel like I feel when I'm with you
When I'm alone with you
I'm alone with you baby

I want a new clutch
One that does what it should
One that won't make me feel too bad
One that won't make me feel too good

I want a new clutch
One with no doubt
One that won't make me talk smack too much
Or make my tires break out

One that won't make me nervous
Wondering what to do
One that makes me feel like I feel when I'm with you
When I'm alone with you

OK i finish my delirium check this out might help

TC at Next Generation Motorsports says that this clutch and flyhweel combo is good for anything from a stock V6 to over 300 WHP with little change in the drivability from a stock clutch.
