has it been real hot or real cold recently? Usualy extreme temps will show you what kind of shape your battery is in. As far as the pedal, it might not be the clutch, but something in the linkage. When i got my clutch replaced they couldn't figure out why the pedal was still messed up feeling when you engage it. Turned out to be some little white plastic bell shaped piece (not sure what its called) that had broken. Once they fixed that it was back to being good. But yeah i would take your car to autozone and have them check your battery, altinator, and starter if they can. Good luck! i hope its just your battery

i thought it was free just for them to check but dont quote me on that. They just hook up some handheld device (looks like a large palm pilot) and it does the work for them. I know they will test your battery for free, and they have an altinator tester inside that you can use for free also. Just drive over to one and have them check your battery if nothing else.
