Going through an engine rebuild, had to figure out 100% for sure which head is "left" and "right". The front head is left, here is why:

In the auto part world, left and right is determined from the POV of the driver's seat, left being driver's side, right being passenger ride. Well since the engine is sideways, that doesn't make sense. If you turned the engine so that the crank pulley is in the front, the front head becomes left.

left side...vs. right side engine didn't clarify either, everyone disagrees. Well, here's your proof:

22410B, the valve cover with the oil filler, is listed as "COVER ASSEMBLY - ROCKER LEFT HAND"
Hope this helps someone.

I didnt even know that thread existed....

that hurt my brain a little.

Left side is radiator side, Right side is firewall side.

Bank 1 is also firewall side, numbered 1-3-5 starting closest to the timing belt

Bank 2 is radiator side, numbered 2-4-6 starting closest to the timing belt.

The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6

The coil order from left to right looking from drivers side is 1-4, 2-5, 3-6

extra info for no reason
