This is my new baby. I have done more to it since this was taken about a month ago. I had ghost flames put on it and have light kits on it that you can not see.

I happen to love my car and the reason I did it is because I sure as hell didnt want it to look like the one I might park next to. It draws alot of attention and people down in here like anyway. (Dont need any southern jokes either) The decal is chrome but it is showing up white in the pic. Now I have a custom Chrome metal badge on the back that is awesome. What does "dont rice it out" mean anyway? I am just a southern girl who loves her cars!!

Courtesy of Urban Dictionary:

Rice:

An automobile that has been equipped with gawdy, unnesecary accessories, such as 3' high spoilers, loud and/or repulsive paint job and body work. Owners of such automobiles feel that these accessories make their car the best in the world, when in fact it is not.

OH! Thank you for the def. Although I do not think my car is not the best in the world. I just like to be different. Man you guys are harsh in here, if you knew how I got this car and why I am so proud of it you would not be so harsh. This car has a history of how it came to be. And this is my first car that I have been able to do whatever I wanted to to it and the first car that no one can take away from me.

Not trying to offend but flames are played out
every mexican has flames on their cars
and they are everywhere
no offence to mexicans
you make great food

But it is your car and you are going to do what you want
as much as it pains me to see that on a tib
beauty is in the eye of the beholder
if you like it that is all that matters

But welcome to the site anyway!

I dont like the whole look at my big *** tiburon sticker on your hatch. Most people can read your badge you don't have to scream the name of the car at them... especially in chrome stickers....

Man, you guys are TOO harsh...Nice car. As far as what everyone says. That is YOUR car, not thiers. If that is what you want your car to look like, more power to you. Try not to pay too much mind. There are a lot of them on this site.

If i were you, id angle the flames upward to make it flow with the car more, and also debadge the hatch too.

Besides that, it looks good. Welcome to the site!!

Poor girl, she gets all excited about getting her new car, then being able to "mod" it (I use the term "mod" loosely), then joining a community in which she can share her excitement with other enthusiasts, but in the end, she gets shot down in flames (no pun intended).
People are gonna rag on you for flames, decals, vinyls and custom license plates, but you've done what you've wanted to do to your car. It's not their's, it's your's. You gotta take the good with the bad. Being ragged on should be expected... you own a Tiburon... Just don't let every Joe Blow and Jane Hancock tell you what's right and wrong. Consider it all to be... constructive criticism.
Be proud... your vehicle is a 2008, how many people can say that? and you got it in black!

Despite the flames and rear window decal, this is still one clean black pearl F/L2 Tib. You don't see much F/L2s around nowadays.

Hoping you do decide to come back to the site, though overall please enjoy your car, especially hinting at the ordeal you had experienced to get it.
A community needs to grow to be unified, a divided community is defeated (and pays more for aftermarket with less stock resale value).
Senorita hinted at just being a southern girl not too familiar with the import world and already was flamed, that's just sad.
To the Original Poster, best of luck and hope you decide to return.
