Why would this give tib owners a bad reputation, The fact is that pinin Farina Designed the car using Ferrari inspiration. Everyone can modify their own car as they please, If your not hurting anyone by it why would it be such a big deal!! Be greatful that this is a special designed car for the driver. And if people dont like it then keep your jealous comments to yourselves!!!

pininfarina was hired by hyundai, but just because the design company designed both ferraris and tiburons doesn't mean that their inspiration was taken from ferraris to make the tiburon. they have their own design concepts that they use. it's not ferrari's shapes, the shapes belong to pininfarina. it would be more understandable if it was rebadged with pininfarina badges and labels because that is a true statement. ferrari badges and letterings, on the other hand are a very false statement. hyundai does not equal ferrari. both a tiburon and a ferrari are pininfarina products, but a tiburon is not a ferrari even though they are related by aesthetic research&development

The real shame are to those who think it's a Ferrari.

 

I agree the real shame is on the people that can't tell the difference. But this is Nothing like Tuscani badges. Tuscani badges are actually FOR our car. Ferrari badges are not.

I personally wouldn't be modding in this direction, but it is definitely interesting and significantly cheaper (and slower) than a Ferrari, I'll give it that.

there's been a lot of posts lately that seem like trolls but are actually serious statements/requests. i just say, you should try to hide yourself while you're driving it. fake ferrari stickers on a hyundai may be completely unique, but that's because it's so embarrassing that nobody ever does it to their car. badge within the make/manufacturer please. the tiburon is as far from ferrari as you can get in terms of 2-door coupes. if you could read people's minds, you would most likely undo the false badges after a day of reading peoples' thoughts about your car.

 

Wow, just wow....Ferrari badges on a Hyundai Tiburon. If you had put on a "Coupe" lettering or "Tuscani" badges, they would be okay because that is the real name of the car from the Korean homeland. But Ferrari? This is worse than those Mini Cooper drivers putting on a BMW logo.

 

Guys Who cares, Its just abit of fun and a stir , Tiburons are very rare in Australia not many around here. It just looks right with all the ferrari badging, This is why they sell the gear in Auto shops for people to buy. Alot of people who have seen the car dont even know what a tiburon is, I told some people it was a hyundai and they thought i was joking, so there you go it doesnt matter what it is as long as i am happy if people want to laugh let them laugh, Ill play along with them and say yeah im a fool but at the end of the day who cares!!! Im not hurting anyone, the car certainly pulls in the girls so i cant be that stupid afterall lol!!!

I find it hard to believe that you're a proud "Hyundai Tiburon Fan" when you've gone to extensive lengths to trick people into thinking you have a Ferrari. However, it's your car so as long as you're happy that's all that matters.

 

I'm conflicted between saying,"this car... Makes me fee better about myself.. Lol!" and,"come on guys. If it's what he wants and he's happy, let's give him a break." so I guess I'll just use both!
