At a glance, the front has a similar look as the 07/08 tib. I have always thought this.

But, don't feel bad - I heard a father telling his two boys and his wife that my car was a Saturn! LOL...

it totally looks like a cougar. it always has, LOL. not your fault though. the headlights look like they are practically interchangable.

i think its weirder that the guy thought a cougar was cool.

When i had my tiburon, i was walking up to it and this girl was like "dang! that's your car?!?!" i smiled like "yep!" and got in. then she said "I've always loved mustangs!!!!"

So, could be worse.

he obviously just meant the lights because my first impression whenever i see them is "cougar" but your car looks wwaaaaaay better than any cougar ive ever seen and the nice body should have been a dead giveaway that it wasnt domestic

 

it does have some similarities, basic shape of the headlights and similar shape of the car (they designed tiby by borrowing lines from other cars)

I do sometimes (from a distance) mistakenly think that i see tiburon but when it gets close to me it turns out to be a cougar.

 

nice looking Tib man. it resembles the front end of a Ferrari to me with that body kit on there.

 

Since the FL2 cames out i said it looks like a Cougar but yours with that new bumper don't so much.

 

Exactly, this was one of the biggest complaints when the FL2 was released. Sorry to here about that brother.
