installing a new radio today and we got power to the head unit but no sound coming from the speakers at all.
and also, we disconnected the ground wire coming from the unit and it still gets power some how.

I had this same probem when i was installing my new head unit....Whats prolly happening is tht ur not connecting the amp wire coming from car to anything on the radio....cuz there is an mini amp in the car tht powers the speakers and thts prolly no connected i had the same problem i had power but no sound and when i connected the amp wire it worked....i cant remember wut color tht wire is but i will look it up.
