Well, I, as well as many others, know that our Tiburons have been lacking a lot in the area of appearance accessories, so I set out to at least add something new to a rather bare section in our aftermarket. That something being a new, genuine Italian leather shift boot from Redline Goods for the 6-speed. Now I'm not too sure if anyone on here has even heard of Redline Goods, but, from my prior dealings with them, I can assure you that they are an awesome company to work with! So anyway, about the shift boot. I am going to be sending my factory boot off to them for R&D here very soon, so that way they can get started on getting a template made. Currently I'm am requesting that the velcro opening be removed completely because I don't really see a use for it, and it doesn't really look that great either. Other than that, they will be an exact factory replica, but a whole lot nicer than that "pleather" stuff the OEM one is made out of! Now if that interests you, wait until you hear this. Redline makes the boots completely to your spec (as far as appearance goes). What I mean is they have a very large selection of boot leather colors, and thread colors that complement and differentiate the boot from the standard black on black motif. And, if that wasn't enough to keep you interested, they also offer an all new two-tone color choice for their shift boots as well!!
The president of Redline, Mr. Maciek, is also looking to start producing a leather e-brake cover as well, but he needs a volunteer for this endeavor. I would do it, but I am mainly interested in the shift boot, and I'm also getting ready to got out to sea very soon (I'm in the Navy) so I don't have much time to work with. If that sounds like something one of you would like to have (I'm sure there's at least one of you 8)) please let him know so he can get the R&D going for it. Just email him and he'd be more than happy to tell you what he needs in order to get this into development.
Also, please take the time to visit their website and view the quality of their work (I'm sure you'll like what you see). And, while you're there, read some of the praise email they receive from all of their customers on a daily basis as well. With that being said, I'm sure that you'll see that this company is definitely in it for the customer, and you can't go wrong with that!
