Yep to everything everyone said. Just about anywhere you can BUY oil should take your old oil for recycling. They usually just let you go into the back to a bigass tank and let you dump it in there. There are several places around here that do that... which reminds me.. I changed my oil last weekend and have like 5 quarts that need dumping.

here in the naasl ( naval air station lemoore ) we deal with so much hazmat oil/fuel etc....day gets done that youre covered up in so much of it that an hour of washing wont take it out...but whatever we do we make sure we waste it properly....lowest fines for a violation like leaving an oily rag goes to like 10000.....just f.y.i bout how strict some states are bout this stuff...and yeah i do miss the old ways but hey .....

around here pepboys and autozone only takes upto 6 quarts per person per visit. I don't want to walk in there once a week. I like to buy my supplies in bulk and dispose of it in the same way.

I have a 3 car garage/shop that regularly does oil for about 5 family cars. I have several 30 gallon drums that I fill up and then I have to pay a oil recycling company $150 to come and haul my oil away. This sucks but no one really wants your oil, thus the drop off limit. . . . .

The PepBoys by me tries to charge to recycle the oil. Screw them....I just leave it in milk juggs outside of one of the bey doors after they close. Bastards
