I don't know if this is a repost, I tried the search but couldn't find it..
But has anyone had any experience painting their seats with a rattle can?
I seen a few guys doing it on youtube, but you know you cant really see how good the quality is in the video because of the pixels.
I want my seats to look like this, but I dont want it to crack or anything.
Also, if its a loss cause, what kind of place will do this for me? Just a regular body shop or would it have to be like a specialty kinda thing?

Body shops are not the way to go. The only place where you could get that done is an upholstery shop but that involves taking the seats out of the car and redoing the entire seat in new leather. You can't just paint treated leather like that. Budget about $150-250 for each one depending on the leather that you pick.

...or you could spray bomb it and have one hell of a crappy looking paint job. Hyundai Civic FTW!

i did this years ago when i had my tib, i used that paint for leather seats and it came out good, just make sure you let it dry inbetween coats. i dont know if i have pics of them still but i made a thread on this years ago

damn, I just read that thread =[
well, I guess I'll have to not be cheap and go to an upholstery shop. I checked out that katskins site, and I really dont like the style of the seats. =[ I really like all the lines in the stock ones. =]
