Great thread! There needs to be more racing threads like these, NT.com should make movies or at least relevant pics a compulsory factor when posting up a race story!

 

You will soon see that most members will not even look at this thread because they only like the F&F fake street racing stories against bugatti verons and other high dolla cars the stock tibs are beating.

 

2k4tib and I need drag radials so bad. I really miss mine, I think I will get some slicks for the spring.

2k trapped 108! I had a best of 105, my supercharger belt is all chewed up and slipping so I am sure I could have trapped higher but I was happy for those times on street tires at that track. It is a high altitude and almost zero prep there. We had a great time and it was nice seeing other supercharged tibs at the track for a change. I was surprised the assassin tib did not run better times.

We had a blast on the way home, 3 supa bad *** turbo civics were following us back. We got held up in some construction and I lost my friend with the supercharged mustang so when I made it out I sped up to get out of the traffic so I could follow my friend (had no idea how to get home lol) and I heard the little bees in a fartcan behind me trying to keep up lol. About a mile later he tries to run my friends supercharged mustang that I was following and the other 2 civics were behind me. We all took off, leaving the 2 slower civics in the dust and then all of a sudden oil starts going on my windshield lmao so I slam on my brakes before parts start falling off the POS civic. The big bad turbo civic blew his damn motor trying to race us! HONDA POWA FOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we pulled off to help him (trying not to laugh) he popped his hood and oil was spraying out of his vented catch can all over the place and he said "is that normal?" and we said "well I might be wrong but it appears to be just a little more blowby than it should be lol" . Poor guy. That made for an entertaining drive home.

 

thats a shame for mr civic but one really can't help but laugh at that, especailly his question

Are you guys running CAI's with no headlights?

 

Injen SRI, with the headlight out it is ram air on the filter!

 

Any noticable gains like that?

 

I never dyno'ed it, I am sure it does make a difference. Hell it gets more air than a CAI does when you do that, the filter gets hit on the side/widest part so it really gets the cold air when you are moving and with the headlight out the air is forced in there good.

 

I think its kind of ricetastic..........

OMG I almost forgot!!! There was a domestic ricer there, he had a v6 mustang with cobra svt badging and was bragging it up till he was beat by an automatic mazda 3 then he said "well if I wanted to be fast i would have brought my built camaro with 700whp"

Also I overheard some **** talking by a couple of ******** about our "damn imports". I was going to call him out on it till I noticed he was the one driving the old hand painted black and green truck with PAINTED whitewall tires that was running 20 second 1/4 mile times lmao!!!! Then I just felt sorry for him and walked off.
