i say option 2, 3 or 4 but forget the white stripes!! No white stripes seriously, it's too busy!! just my opinion.

Well if you're going with the racing stripes I'd say just paint all the rest. I've never been a fan of more than 2 colors showing. SInce the white contrasts so much with the blue leaving the CF exposed on any of the ways you have shown looks too patchwork to me. If there won't be any racing stripes I'd go with option 4.

^^^ to me option 5 defeats the purpose of even getting a cf hood.. yes its for weight reduction, BUT that extra weight only matters if your serious about drag racing..

I say #1 or number #5. I'm not a big fan of the stripes but as an idea, have you thought about changing them to black stripes? Then you could have black stripes on the whole car but make the hood stripes CF. If you like the stripe thing that might look pretty good. Get your friend to photoshop that.

I'm picking #5 too!
It's a shame to paint over brand new CF, but it just wouldn't look right any other way.

But now we're likely talking extra paint work, which would cost me. Plus, I don't feel black contrasts enough with the blue, the stripes just get lost. You could get away with white OR black on OC or red, but not blue. Gotta go with white on blue, IMO. Certainly a good idea though, thanks!

I picked #5. Looks way better, even though I don't dig the whole stripe thing totally, its neat.
