okay i havent updated this in a while so heres a few updates, i got an Injen IS1375P SRI and painted the lip black and got my engine plastics painted

thanks man....actually its orange tint on my fogs...its easy to put on if you strech out the paper..cost me 2 dollars to do it...and i made the kdm stick at a sticker store next to my house

This was before picture when i had painted some interior pieces silver i didnt like it so much so thats when i painted them carbon grey . I also got rid of the stock shifter and installed the Ralco short shifter with redline shift boot

where did you get that trunk mat at?

 

i got it off ebay. ...its oem he even gave me the recipt from the hyundai dealer with 1 year waranty
he has 2 different ones. ....one that fits with the sub and the other one that doesnt use the sub

what paint did you use for the engine plastics man those look soooooo clean awesome job

thanks.....i bought the paint in pepboys i dont remember the name but the paint is gloss black auto paint and has an old car in the front of the can

Okay well nothing new just that my Antenna base (black plastic piece) cracked ..I have noticed this as a common Issue with the tiburons i have seen in Puerto Rico they start to crack until they break and fall off eventually..So i went to see if hyundai would sell me just that by itself but turns out they wouldnt so i had to buy the whole antenna Assembly for $25 dollars ...When i went to take off my Ark short Antenna it was stuck on there and didnt want to come off so i had to break it off very carefully not to mess up or dent my baby but after a few hours i managed to pull it off and since i had no short antenna i had to order a cheap solution (ebay short antenna for $10 )until i have a few bucks to spare on an Ark antenna again....so here are before and after pictures

I love engine plastics! I'm doing it to mine right now. Got some paint and clear coat. How many coats of paint did you do to get it that shiny?

 

he did 4 coats but on the center piece it was 5 since i accidently touched it when it was freshly painted lol

thanks. ..everything is the original stock paint except for the front and rear bumpers gills,spoiler, roof and gas cap

Not sure if it was answered or not, i skimmed over the posts and saw a compliment on the engine plastics, but didn't see anything towards what kind of paint your friend put on them, your friend just clear coat them or something?...ill see what brand of paint it is since ive gotten a few people ahos asked me the same and post it up.....yeah he clear coated them too.....overal i wasted like70 on paint and clear and the activator for the paint
