WTF? So you're saying..."Big whoop." You beat a car that is an older model than yours. That makes no sense to say it's nothing. I'd like to see you beat a street car of my choice from 30-40 + years ago. There are plenty of cars that will smoke a Tib or a new BMW. The fact is that a considerbly well made sport sedan was defeated by a budget sport coupe. I guess defeating a Mustang SVT Cobra from the past would be nothing.

woah woah woah, dude where are you coming up with that? thats not what im saying at all... i think you should re-read my post. we're not talking about any old car from the last 40 years, we're talking about 2 very specific cars. a new Tib and a 13 year old BMW. im saying that that BMW is impressive for its age. defeating a mustang SVT cobra would be pretty damn impressive considering how fast is was. barely walking a 13 year old BMW 325, which was not fast at all but decently quick for its time is not. there's nothing embarassing for the BMW driver about losing to a brand new Tib.

dont get me wrong, im glad he won, but its not about the age of the car, i was wrong to even bring that up. its about the fact that in '94, 325s were 15.5 sec. cars, not the execu-rockets they are today. its like saying "i beat a tC". big whoop. theyre slower. so is a 13 year old BMW with equal mods.

i feel like killing a bimmer is the most satasfing kill.

as a car make. rather than audi or nissain. i dunno why but a bimmer is always a sweet kill

yeah i dont know why either, but its probably the fact that as a whole theyre some the best cars ever made.

My best friend used to have a white 95 BMW 325i manual mostly stock except for an exhaust and M3 like exterior and interior bits. Compared to my V6 Tibby it lacked on the low end torque but made up with the high end but the Tibby is faster.

I have only raced another similar car...a white 93 325i coupe with exhaust , inake , chip and wires and again I beat him by 1-2 cars. I only have an Injen SRI.

But this doesn't take away from the bimmer, back in the mid 90s this car ruled the sport sedan arena and in fact those are mi favorite bimmers to date , more so than the newer , heavier , luxurious and loaded with electronics bimmers.

On my way home from work today me and my friend were just crusing along, enjoying the nice day. We were on a 2 lane road and cought a redlight, open road infront of us and said why not? so light turnd green and we were off.

befor i go further im standard, my mods are intake/exhaust STS slave cyl.

hes a 94 BMW 325i standard with intake/exhaust

light turns green, 1st gear we are even, i have him by mayb 2 feet. 2nd gear i pull away. we go to 55 60mph and i win by 2 cars.

so how did i do??

BTW he is the black bimmer in my sig.

am i the only one who thinks that its not that impressive to beat a 13yr old car? if anything i think it speaks to the foresight and engineering of the BMW that it can keep up with a 2007 anything. try that with a 13yr old hyundai. LOL.

back in 94, this was a considered a decently quick car. look at how far the industry has come since then. now its slower than an admittedly slow car.

Yes 15 second cars racing each other is always impressive..... :3_slapen:

I think it's funny when people get excited they beat a Benz or a Bimmer.....Unless it has AMG or an M in front of the number, it's not worth bragging about.....
