San Antonio "Back To School BBQ!!!" *some pics added*
Well, too many people have thrown this idea around and have spoken their interest in it, so here it is. I drove around tonight and looked at two possible locations for this. Here are some general options to address:
Option set 1: Where?
b.) Dwight Eisenhaur Park (2 miles outside 1604 on NW Military) This is rumored to be a "secret" park probably because no one knows about it from it's remote location outside of town. I was told the only people that go there are the military personell from Camp Bullis. It is very nice and has extremely large parking areas with tables in front of them. It was dark as I drove through, so I can't say what the trails are like. But this is the best spacious place for a bbq IMO.

a.) Aug 21st. UTSA starts classes on Wed. the 25th.

a.) Track. San Antonio Raceway. 3641 Santa Clara rd., about eleventy-billion miles outside 1604 off I-10. You can't miss it on your left. It's $10 to enter and watch per person and another $5 to race per 1 car. 13's require helmet and no passenger.Gates open at 4:00pm and the track is prepped and ready by 4:30pm. BYOB! Taking all bets! :3_got-hoo
