My schedule just changed last week. I now work Sunday - Weds, so no can do on a Sunday for me. Good luck, guys.

Bad news. The Marine Corps Marathon is on the 29th. I had the dates backward but i still have a tasker on the 28th. THe only thing i can think of is if you want to do this on a Wendsday night or Friday night this week or next i can still help you. I am doing mine today along with my spring... The MD meet is next week end but we could do it that sunday the 22nd... let me know what you wanna do.

This Wednesday is my birthday, so there might be some debauchery going on that evening, unless it's delayed until the weekend.

But I tend to be done with work quite early Fridays (normally not out til 6), so that's feasible, and if we need Voodoo's welding help....perhaps Friday is the best bet.

Let me know how your installation goes. Are you going to try to do the welding yourself? Or just take your chances?

install was easy. welding was done by one of the shop guys. took like 5 minutes to weld over al project time is about...30 minutes for the sway bar. give me a call and we can figure out whats best for you. 386-853-0192.

What's the latest you'd want to do it Friday?

There's kind of a big window (could be anwhere between 1:30 and 4, but usually like 2 or 3) for when I get out of work Fridays, and I see it's about 2-1/2 hours to Quantico.

I can see about swapping with one of the late Thursday people to guarantee me out between 2 and 3, but that tends to be when I'm out anyway--except, of course, when I count on it.

the sway bar is really simple. all that is needed it to jack up the back end, take the wheels off and from there it is a total of six bolts to aclually mount it. the welding part will take the longest only because you will probibly want to take the struts out. you dont have too but might waht to... I get off work around 430 each day. normally friday is early more towards 330-4 but i cant promise any thing. I can help you out any time between 430 - when ever wendsday - friday. Most sundays i can help at any time. Saturdays it really depends on if there is a meet.

Funny, I somehow missed the Sunday idea before.

If you want to just name the time that would be best Sunday, that would be easiest since I'm completely free weekends for the time being. And you have to get around really early Fridays in these parts to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

Sunday would avoid the potential of a 2.5 hr drive turning into 3 or 4 and me not being able to predict my arrival.

I didn't even have my own socket set, much less a torque wrench, until I got this car and wasn't the least bit mechanically inclined. The most I've done is install all the strut bars. Still, if I'd had a jack I trusted and a level place to park (which I don't) I might have attempted the installation myself, even if it would have taken me about 5x longer than it should have.:) But, I haven't a clue about welding or taking out the struts.

1400 OK?

I can do earlier if it's better, but I wanted to allow for the aftermath of my sometimes unpredictable Saturday night shenanigans. :)

Oh, and call me stupid, but I'm guessing since you're in NoVa and talking about the base and all, you're talking Quantico, VA, not Quantico, MD, like I searched for originally meaning you'd only be around 45 minutes from me, not 2.5 hours. Yeah, you can tell I've lived here less than a year.

that sounds good. just give me a call when you get up and on your way. i will be around base that whole day... i didnt even know there was a quantico md. yes im talking about the VA one...you coming out to Maryland on Saturday?

I'm just so used to all the NoVa area attractions not actually being in VA that I Mapquested MD by mistake. I thought it seemed odd that it was so far, and amazingly no one in the office said "that can't be right." It was a surprise there were two.

I haven't been doing a good job keeping up on the meets. There was something going on not far from me at all the other week, but I was sick. Missed a big birthday party that weekend too. I'll have to hunt around for the details.

If you like you can PM me exactly where I'll have to go Sunday. And I probably should have caught your name on here by now, but I don't know it for when I call you. I'm Grant if you haven't caught it in the NoVa thread.
