This is from a post Nemesis made awhile ago.

"Used 50 pound DEI poppers. Took about 30 mins per door to install wire the poppers into my alarm. Keep in mind that you can't ground the poppers to the door itself. You have to run wires to the inside of the car. That requires taking the door off and drilling holes in the door jams.

Shaving the doors takes 3 or 4 hours per door to do it right.

Then you have to waire the alarm or door popper kit.

Its not just putting poppers in the door, its a lot more involved. And then you have to repaint the entire door."

Basically the reason I am doing the whole shaved door handle thing is to clean up the look for car shows. My friend is starting up is own custom car business and thought that the tiburon would be a good car to show off. So he/we are going to customize the car itself and he is going to do a nice paint job on it. You something that makes you turn your head. Honestly the reason I want to do the shaved door handles is because it is less I have to touch and less to scratch. Especially since he is going this whole thing for free to get his name out there

Might have to shave this car as well! I already want to ditch the wing, might as well get rid of everything else! 50lb poppers should be more than enough, they worked on my Taurus doors, and those were some heavy doors!

That was alot of work especially with the kit and shaved door handles but the end result was more than worth the expense, toil and thensome. Just candy for the eyes.
