30,000 miles, v6, auto, with RIPP supercharger kit.
I do not care really about the supercharger kit. I am not an enthusiast, just an average buyer who really likes the look of tiburons. The extra horsepower is nice but I don't want any complex issues with the car because I know nothing about cars. I have to take it to a mechanic and get *** raped everytime.
The main reason I am interested in this car is because the miles are so low. Should I be interested in this tiburon? Is it possible to take out the supercharger so that it's back to stock and more reliable?

"2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT auto 4spd. With RIPP Supercharger kit, DC headers, Apexi Super Airflow converter, and Greddy Exhaust. Car has low mileage just over 30k, Air Conditioning. Cruise, Power Windows, Moon Roof. 6 Disc AM FM Stereo Cassette. Car sounds and runs good. Nice power. Clean inside and out. Plenty of get up and go, and still gets 21-22mpg. Great summer driver car. Originally dynoed at 270hp. Car has a few small scratches and a very small door ding behind the passenger door, hard to see. Super low miles for a six year old car. "
I recently read on this forum that RIPP supercharger have been known to
"The RIPP system almost always ends in a failure of a stock motor, and when installed on a forged motor, is so hard to tune, that it's just a pain in the azz to own... there are a few that run them, but most of the time they will not admit how much work they are compared to the fun they might put out.. I always tell people to pass on them..." - UnHolyTib
"there have only been a few members on here who got the kit to run properly but it takes alot of tuning to get it right grasshopper comes to mind... he was putting down 300-350 after all was said and done and the car runs good but after alot $$$, if this is to be your wifes ride i would pass for something more reliable." - nolfol
"the ripp supercharger is known for blowing up engines and being hard to tune...ive only heard of one being operational from a kid here in mo who's late father tuned....oh course that kid had a razzi kit aswell" - bloodycliff
