Smell of Dog

Hi all,

I bought my tib a couple of months ago. The previous owner make a great job cleaning hairs and masking the smell for my test drive, but sometimes, especially when the aircon is turned off I get a strong smell of dog ass filling the cabin.

I have a checklist of things I can do to eradicate the smell and I wondered if anyone could add to my list.

1. change cabin filter
2. open up vents on top and underneath the dashboard. Wipe using antibacterial wipes as far as can be reached.
3. access via engine bay?

Is there anything I have missed?

Get a dog and don't bathe it in order to get used to the smell.

or you could have a dog jizz all over then it wont smell like dog ass...

but seriously detail the crap outta it and get a air purifier

Wow what a great joke. Now someone looking for a proven air purifier for the Tib can not only get a cheap laugh at your expense, but can also get a decent sensible answer as well! :3_pimatyo

You can take your car to a detailer and they can run an ozone machine in it. Usually takes a few hours, but it does a great job of getting smoke smell oout of a car (I have not dealt with dog smell though). Where I have gone, if they can't get the smell out, you don't have to pay.
