I'd conclude that Mike had the slight high end power advantage while my car had the low end/ torque advantage. It was some great racing and we had a ton of fun tonite.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! FINALLY SOME REAL RACING IN THE RACE THREAD!!!!

The red one was supercharged.

For the higher speed roll starts, try brake boosting a bit to get your boost up before the start....

Wow, that Sniper really pulled on you at high RPM's, but it looked like you realy took him from a slower roll. I woulda thought the exact opposite!

Nice vids....get a new cameraman tho... ;)

Damn, Tim....you hit the nail on the head.

FINALLY, a racing thread that actually has something worthy to offer......not the incredibly lame Corolla, Honda, Cavalier crap that has been passing for racing stories around here lately.

Excellent post up and it looked like you guys had a helluva a good time.

Kudos for having video too. Rep points awarded accordingly.

Because the 13G is a smaller turbo it spools very quickly which gives me great low end power and torque. This generates a great 0-100 km/h however above 120 km/h the 13G does not have the top end power that Mike's s/c car has which is why he caught me at higher speeds. From a dig my car is one nasty mofo as you saw in races 6 and 7.

Great races. Definitely +100000000 on the first real racing thread in a long time, well as long as I have been here anyway (which aint that long).

Garrett GT28R Dual Ball Bearing. I'll be changing a few things around aswell when I do the turbo: 3 inch downpipe, 3.5 inch cold air intake for turbo, Walbro 190 lph fuel pump, Perfect Power SMT-6. I'll probably be installing everything in 1-2 months time.
