LOL!!!! I got a new digi cam for xmas too by the way :3_coool:. Price for tires after tax's was $714cdn.

 

Is there an advantage or reason for using those size tires on stock rims??? vs the stock size...

Is there an advantage or reason for using those size tires on stock rims??? vs the stock size...

i'm running the same tires on my stock rims except mine are 235/45/17. there nice tires very quiet and have a nice stiff tire wall. goint with a larger size allows u to have a larger contact patch on the road for better grip, i felt a big difference.

 

I just got home about an hour ago. Man-0-man musta been there almost 2hrs waitng to mount 4 friggen tires, but the shop was busy.

Only short drive home, like 5 miles but I can already tell I'm gonna be happy with these tires.

 

I had falkens on for this summer they were ok , but noisy, then realized they didn't handle worth the ****, compared to the pilots, so now i am either going to g-force, pilots, s-03 or f1-gs-d3

Well for the money.

yeah pricey but I like them at least they were consitent from new to wear bars, but since michelin owns bfg the technology between the 2 is almost the same(if not excact) and bfg are cheaper by a bit.
but from the testing I got to do with michelin (at a track) with a audi a4 a 350z and a gti the bfg better dry(slightly ) and the miches better wet, the hankooks and khumos got smoked and goodyear and bridgestone were close, either way you usually get what you pay for

I found the pilots were fine untill about the 3-4 lap then got greasy.
