I found a few similar threads but nothing from this decade, so I figured I'd start this and see what you guys are playing to impress your friends, I'm always looking for more good songs.

To start things off, here's some songs I like playing:

Asher Roth - La Di Da (Rap)
Chill song, good for cruising.

Alt-J - Breezeblocks (Alternative)
Maybe it's not what you're into, but it's got a nice bassline.

Avicii - Hope There's Someone (EDM)
Some good bass if you can last through the vocals.

B.o.B. - Play for Keeps (Rap)
Pretty massive bassline, you'll like this one.

Big Sean - Dance (A$$) (Rap)
As crude as it is, it's got (b)ass.

Chiddy Bang - Handclaps & Guitars (Rap)
Another clean bassline, enjoy.

Childish Gambino - Zealots of Stockholm (Rap)
Absolutely outrageous, this song will shake your car.

Common - Blue Sky (Rap)
Good sunny day cruising song.

Daft Punk - Solar Sailer (Pretty Lights Remix) (Electronic)
Dynamic bassline, good for showing some range.

Deadmau5 - Some Chords (Electronic)
The melody is low enough to get picked up by my subs, worth a listen.

The Dean's List - Burn It All (Rap)
Nice moving bassline, if you're into their stuff.

Don Omar - Danza Kuduro (Latin)
Overplayed? Maybe. But I still want to drive as fast as I can every time I play it, so I'll give it that.

Dr. Dre - Forgot About Dre (Rap)
A classic, with a nice bassline.

Drake - November 18th (Rap)
Older Drake, some smooth laid-back bass.

Eminem - No Love (Rap)
Agressive, in your face bass.

Example - Close Enemies (Not Even Sure)
Listen to this one if you feel like it, your call.

G-Eazy - Almost Famous (Rap)
Huge song from a favorite artist of mine.

The Glitch Mob - Fortune Days (Electronic)
Some pretty cool stuff from a pretty cool group.

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. (Rap)
An essential, along with a nice bassline.

Hi-Rez - Progression (Rap)
Real nice beat from an up and coming rapper.

Hopsin - Hop Is Back (Rap)
Pretty angry song, if you're feeling that way.

J. Cole - January 28th (Rap)
Nice bass along with some great verses.

Jay-Z & Kanye West - Murder to Excellence (Rap)
Remix to a popular dubstep song done pretty well.

Kanye West - Heartless (Rap)
Like the album name suggests, the man knows his drums.

Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Rap)
Some nice bass from another lyrical great.

Kygo - Sexual Healing (Tropical House)
Listen to this and try to not be happy, I dare you.

Lil Wayne - I'm Me (Rap)
A personal favorite of mine by Weezy.

Logic - Numbers (Rap)
Another lyrical song with some nice bass.

Lupe Fiasco - Daydreamin' (Rap)
Roll the windows down and turn this up.

Mac Miller - Smile Back (Rap)
Not my favorite of his songs, but a whole lot of bass.

Macklemore - Gold (Rap)
Catchy song with a clean bassline.

The Neighbourhood - T$RL (Indie)

This one hits pretty hard, worth a listen.

Ratatat - Mirando (Electronic)
Chill song with some nice bass, check it out.

Rizzle Kicks - When I Was a Youngster (Rap)
Pretty happy song from a pair across the pond.

Ryan Hemsworth - Deku (Electronic)
Give this one a listen through, it hits hard.

Skizzy Mars - Sirens (Rap)
Some nice bass from another good hip hop artist.

T.I. - Top Back (Rap)
You'll be nodding your head or his producer isn't Mannie Fresh.

Tech N9ne - Worldwide Choppers (Rap)
Some heavy bass along with a lyrically insane song.

Tyga - Black Crowns (Rap)
A bassline that you'll feel as much as you hear.

Vance Joy - Riptide (FlicFlac Remix) (Alternative)
Another really happy song, with some bass as a bonus.

Wale - Ambition (Rap)
Something about this song always gets me going.

The Weeknd - The Hills (R&B)
A must listen, this song is crazy.

Wiz Khalifa - Guilty Conscience (Rap)
This bassline will shake some stuff up.

Tinie Tempah - Pass Out (Rap)
Another song that's good for some low range.

The xx - Fantasy (Alternative)
Listen to this song, it will violate you.

Young Jeezy - Hustlaz Ambition (Rap)
A whole lot of bass from a well known artist.

50 Cent - Many Men (Rap)
Nice bassline from a hip hop staple.

It's a pretty crazy spread of genres (a lot of them are tough to even put in a genre) but I like to listen to stuff that's all over the place. I'm sure not everyone will like all of it, but if you find anything you like that's good enough for me.

What are some songs that you guys are into?

Man, you gotta try some organ music. I'm serious!

If you can find a high quality version of Charles Maire Widor's Toccata from Symphony No. 5 (it's the last movement) you will certainly be blown away. Also, if you can find great live recordings (of organ music) in famous venues (cathedrals, concerts halls, etc.), the frequency separation and different placement of the pipes in the venue can be distinguished on even a mediocre sound system. The biggest, most famous organs have a frequency range that is arguably unparalleled! There is a reason why it has been referred to as "the voice of God himself".

If not to impress your friends, give it a try to impress yourself with the capability of your system. ;)

@meotjaengi: I never would have thought of that.. I'll definitely have to try that out. I've liked finding songs that I wouldn't expect to sound good with my subs; listening to songs on headphones I don't hear much of the low end, and once that gets amplified in my car it's like listening to a whole new song. That makes sense with the kind of range organs have though, thanks for the suggestion!

@oni888: Hey I'd say our music taste is all weird in our own ways, to each their own! Thanks for adding those songs, I figured there'd be a wide range of styles that people would prefer and I thought this would be a great place to bring them together.

I'm not a big fan of heavy bass in cars; to me it takes away from the music and my ears don't react well to it. However, I am a huge fan of music and I'll have to delve into some of the rapper's you posted.

Some good Tech songs that I like to ride to - Dysfunctional and Girl Crazy

I like it, but I have to be reasonable about it too, if I'm not careful I'll end up with a headache by the time I get to where I'm going haha. I can adjust the sub level from 0 to 8 from my receiver, and I'll usually only crank it up to 8 when I'm trying to show it off, otherwise I'll cruise with it at 4 or 5. But that's awesome man, I hope you like a few of them as much as I do!
