Was thinking, and am in the mood to pull the car apart to have a look at the amp in it. But my question is, where is it and how do i get to it??

good question lol, idk about uk tibs. Anyways the rear panel if i remember, thers some kind of screw you remove and then pull it out like you normally do.NoS said:So driver side in the US so passenger side UK so if u sitting in the back looking forward its in the far right pannel??

one side has a little door on it
the amp is behind the side without teh little door....

youll need stock sub housing, good aftermarket sub, good aftermarket amp, amp wiring kit and some time and some knowledge about car audioNoS said:Up for that, just dont wanna guzzle a lot of trunk space, i get the impression the stock one does not, so what i need is a nice sub and the stock housing??

I bought a alpine type s 10 inch sub... it fit in the box but won't play long before the amp goes into protect mode... so on to the next idea, it was a kenwood 10 inch DVC, it worked for a few weeks, then blew one of the voice coils... now I am on my third which is a kenwood 10 inch single voice coil sub, seems strong.. only time will tell.
Do a search, there is a few of us who have modified the stock box and I belive each one has a different brand of sub... Grasshoper (I think) Has a Rockford punch, and another dude who I forgot his screen name has a kicker, and I have the newest kenwood 10 inch single voice coil... sorry I don't remember the model number but its a dark dark greay with a red dot in the middle and a silver plastic lip...hope this helps.
