No ****....thats why I said I'd get them up as soon as I could...just haven't had a chance to wash the car since its been raining the last couple of days. I don't understand why you all jump down everyones throats if you don't agree with something. Back off, no point in being tools!

 

no one is jumping down your throat for their dislike of racing stripes...we are jumping down your throat because you post something as you did in your OP and dont include pics with it...you're inciting something doing that. was it absolutely necessary to post this thread right away? or maybe you could have waited to post it when you had pics....then you wouldnt have people bugging you for pics. where is this supposed hostility you perceive from these previous posts? i know this is the newbie forum, but i don think anyone was out of line here

 

So just about all the threads I read totally ripped on racing stripes on a Tib. I personally like the look and went ahead anyways and threw on a 20 in center vinyl on my Tib and have gotten nothing but complements.
Basically just thought I'd let you all know.
Haven't gotten a chance to take pics yet, but as soon as I do I'll get them up.

you started with an attitude in your OP...what gives? and the fact that you did something purely because you wanted to: kudos!!! and other people like it: wonderful. be happy with that and forget about posting some retribution thread as if you are going to vindicate anyone whose stripes have been dishonored.

 

Dude pretty much everyone here is going to do at least one thing that not everyone else likes. Not everyone will have the same likes/dislikes, its about what you like. So if you think it looks sweet, and you're happy with it then thats what it's about cuz it's your car not ours.

 

Not to mention that you posted this in the wrong forum. This belongs in Exterior, n00bie post or not.
