does anybody use a swirl remover on their tib? im looking for one that works (dont feel like buying a bunch to see if they work:) ) thanks in advance.

I think the best thing to do would use a three (or more) step system (like Meguair's).
It usually consists of a pre-cleaner (to strip existing wax), the polish (which is the important step here, to correctly remove swirls), and finally the wax (to seal that polish in).

I plan on treating my car with Meguair's three-step system later this summer.

take it to a detailer and have the swirl marks removed. Most products just fill or hide the scratches To remove them a microscopic layer of clearcoat has to be sanded down, too much and you add more or even destroy your paint. If you talk to them they should do it for less than a full detail job. If you can't afford it right now buy a claybar kit which will make them less noticable, then use zymol cleaner wax which will remove some and hide the rest.

Clay bar just removes oxidization on the surface of the clear coat. It will not help with the swirl marks.
Yes...this is correct.
Screw the detailer, do it yourself with Meguiars, do all 3 steps like eveyone already said, most important being the second step...

there is no permanant way to get ride of swirl marks and light schratches. All wax products and polishes are temporary! After it rains or wash the car again they will apear. But for temporary releif i use Turtle waxes True color....or something like that. Can't remember the name, opps. But heres a pic of my BLACK 04 tib after useing the polish. Guess what, it rained, and it doesn't look like that anymore.

Re: swirl marks

If they're all over the car you should just take it to get professionally detailed. Save yourself some time and headache.
Although, that doesn't always work either. I took my car in to get it professionally detailed/buffed to get the swirl marks out. They got a lot of scratches out from using the brush at the car wash, but the swirl marks are mostly still there.

Re: swirl marks

Bring it to a place with a good rep. Once they get them out... DONT EVER GO TO A MACHINE CAR WASH AGAIN.... if you have hand car washes by you use them.
