Tein S-Tech vs Eibach Sportline - Pics please

I'm specifically looking for pics of each of these with 17" wheels. Most of the S-Tech pics I've seen were with 18's.

I've read the comments of everyone happy with the S. Techs in other threads, but I haven't seen much about Eibach's sportline, pics or comments. The drop on them is 1.6 in the front and rear.

Thanks guys. (and girls)

that's on 17s with teins.

you dont HAVE to upgrade your struts, but i wouldnt want to go stock for too long on them.. especially if you bottom out on large bumps. well for teins at least.. eibachs you probably are safe.

Whats the difference is drop from the Tien s techs and the Eibach's??
whoops sorry.. was thinking about the eibach pros which are 1.1 drop.. eibach sportlines have a lower rear drop than teins is about the only difference. ymmv (your mileage may vary) with your stock suspension depending on the road conditions you drive daily on.

telix... wow. how long have you had ur springs on ur car man??? ur car is WAY lower than mine. It might be the angle of the picture or somthing but damn. I wouldnt want to be that low.

and you dont have to upgrade ur struts. I didnt change mine, but i can do it in about 20 minutes a corner so i dont care if i have to do it again... plus i have been lowered for a year (give or take) and my stockers still arent blown. It depends on how the roads are in ur area... if you dont drive on alot of rough roads it will last longer.

yeah, it is pretty damn low. i think the struts brought me near 2 in drop in front and 1.5 in back.. im only guessing however. no rubbing though unless i got a fat guy in the car with me or two other guys. it's a pain, but it looks so hot and handles so nicely~

Thanks for the responses guys.... the pics with 17" wheels make a difference. I appreciate the help.

What is it with the stock struts? Do the springs just keep them compressed and they eventually can't handle the pressure? I will replace the stocks eventually. I'm just on a budget here. It's easier to replace them later when I can tell the wife that they *must* be replaced. ;)

The S Techs are supposed to drop something like 1.7 in the front and 1.3 in the rear. The Sportlines are 1.6 in both front and rear. Not a lot of difference, but it maintains the factory symetry (spelling?) of the car, just lower.

Sooo... after I replace the stock struts, the car will be lower than it was with just the lowering springs and stock struts? Or did you mean to say springs?

no, i meant struts. dont ask me.. i bought these off redtib04 and he said his car was lower with these struts than stock... and i feel my car is lower too than teins alone.

Everyone seems to really like the S Techs... so I'll be going with those.

How is the camber? I know lowering a vehicle affects it, but how bad is it? Is it correctable with the S Techs without a camber kit, or do I need one? If I need one, does it have to be spring specific or will any camber kit for the tib work? I've seen different ones from different manufacturers varying anywhere in price from $16 to $50+. Some look different, but it may just be a stock example photo and not the actual item.
depends i guess. my car didnt have any camber issues. i do have a bit of a caster problem though, but i'm SOL on that.
