i'll be there for the motor mounts... in my rain gear :biggrin: . get ready for another wet one... see if you guys can find a covered area this time, i imagine it'll go a little faster that way, or at least a little more comfortably.

Yeah ill be there for the races, thats no problem, just have to work that friday night because my boss thinks I can do everything for him since he likes to take off whenever he feels the need and since I am the only manager not restricted to certain shifts, I get the shaft

damn that sucks...but don't let it bring you down.... remember you are 21 now and can get a nice big Corona whenever you need cheering up... but don't drink on the job of course or while driving down to Gainesville!! Take Care! :p :biggrin:

well...someone got some Motor Mounts!! Oh yeah....no more wheel hop baby!! I love 'em....... I raced a Supercharged ohv V6 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix today.... it's got something like 240 bhp + 280 lbs/ft of TQ...

well I took him from a roll... it was kinda the race where you don't know if the other guy was gonna punch on the gas or not...well he punched it first, and I followed in suite.... but nevertheless.... I kept up with him @ his rear bumper the whole time..... nice huh?? until we hit 60, then I hit on the breaks to avoid getting a ticket or what not..... so he's probablly got 30 more bhp than I do right now.... and probablly a lot more TQ...not sure how much... though.

very nice. it's reduced a lot of the wheel hop? i remember steve saying he got some wheel hop from his car when he raced someone on the way to terry's, but i'm guessing that was cause it was raining that day... also, did you finish that rear motor mount by the exhaust?
hey terry, how's that short shifter working out? the install was pretty easy, except for those damned clips... man i want a 6-speed.

Steve hasn't done his motor mounts yet..hence the wheel hop.
Lovin' that new short shifter, it just seems to snick into place now. Yeah, those clips were a *****..someone just pm'd me asking me about that step..so we're not the only ones who found it a *****!

Hey Sinner,

Thanks sooo much for hooking us up with the pizza.... also for helping out in installing the B&M shifter... you and Terry did an awesome Job on that. Also, yes, I did the rear motor mount.... it was a PITA....cause I had to do it underneath the car in the rain... I still can get rid of the poly urethane on my hands.. lol :p

Critical Update: Extremely Important:

www.weather.com reports:

Saturday, 2/21/04: A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 40s.

If it's gonna rain, then they might close the raceway.... and give us rainchecks or what not.... gonna stay on top of this situation to see what's up... We might have to move it down to Ocala..

Actually, I checked all the Raceways in the North and Central Florida area and all will be affected by Saturday Thunderstorms... so either the weather changes and we'll be able to race on 2/21 or we'll have to postpone it a week... to 3/31 or reschedule somewhere else.....
