SR20DET swap, and your engine/tranny reliability problems are taken care of.

Plus the KA24 is fail, unless you can SOMEHOW find one with low miles.

Thanks everybody for the comments. It is sad to see the Tib go. It was really a tough decision. But I've been looking for an S14 relatively unmodded with relatively low miles for quite some time. This one that I found happened to be everything I wanted: black in color, 5 speed manual, relatively unmodded, 82,500 mi (which really is pretty low, about 5000 mi/yr). The car was owned by a little old single lady for awhile then a mechanic at a Nissan dealership. It has full synthetic oil and tranny fluid and EVERYTHING was flushed before it was put for sale. It has a new clutch (2000 mi on it). I am not worried about it being unreliable in the least. I do have plans for the 240SX, I don't want to spoil the surprise for people, so if you want to see my plans, highlight the white text just below.

HAHAHAHA! It's going to be a surprise for everybody! :3_shiny:

Try not to rice out the 240 as much.....jesus.
Rice? This was a show car. I don't need to be fast to win the trophies and plaques I have won. Each to their own... but you... you can keep your own, don't tell anybody.

Just don't go crazy, telling people you have an S14. That's just crazy talk.

Just leave it as 240sx.

you tib is tight. and im sure you will make your 240 as well i hope you have good luck at selling it. you will have to put up pictures for the new ride though

Oh yeah, believe me, you guys will definitely get the 240SX progress. Just because I won't have a Tib any longer doesn't mean that I'm leaving the site. There is far too much information and too many helpful people to leave.
