i think you should do it, it makes a huge difference and your tib will look really nice with 20%...i have 20% all the way around and i haven't been hassled once, i live in washington though

I live in central IL, and I only did the rear window and the back two little ones. I did 5% limo tint on those windows. Thats the only legal way to go around here. ANYTHING darker than stock on your front two windows and windsheild is illegal in IL. Its also a $75 dollar ticket and a drive to the courthouse to show them you got the tint removed.

i got pulled over in my tib with 30%, cop pulled a tint meter on me and checked it right on the spot....PA legal limit is 70% so it sucked i got away with a 105$ fine and the tint stayed on

I actually just got my windows tinted this weekend. I live in central FL and had to go with illegal...35% is too light IMO. I went with 15% all the way around and 35% on the entire windshield, with a 15% strip at the top. I have always done the windshields on my cars but this is the first time I went with anything above 5% on the rest...I like it. It's dark enough but not too dark.

If I can keep the same ratio as before with my other vehicles (1 ticket in 8 years of having illegal tint) I should be okay.

Keep it legal. Most tint shops will do legal, some won't touch your car if you want them to do darker than legal. It saves in the long run,,,just in case you get caught.

i would go legal cause gettin a ticket sucks, and u can get 1 more than jus 1 time for tint. Not to mention if u re sale illegal tint could kill ur re sale value/ability untill u take it off

I live in Jersey - I've had 30% in the front and 20% all around back for a little over 2 months now with no problems. I think 30% is a good tint - not so dark so that cops can't see how many people are sitting in the front (which they really hate I'm told) and dark enough so that ppl can't really "see" you in the daytime. And yea, I'd roll down my windows too if I got pulled over, just to be safe

15% is the maximum here in Tennessee. My brother's SRT-4 is 5% all around (15% windshield so he can see) and he's never been hassled about it. Cops here are real *******s about most things. I got pulled over in my Falcon before it became non-street legal for it being "too loud." I went to court and protested that there are tons of motorcycles that are a lot louder than my car, so the ticket got thrown out. Basically what I'm saying is that if Tennessee cops don't care about the tinting laws, most other cops won't either.

If you dont feel like getting pulled over and getting a ticket just legal. It is not worth it to get a ticket for something so stupid. So if you are undecided then just go legal. I am legal for where I live and I still get pulled over. Legal here in MO is 35% on front two windows and 20% on the rest!

Damn I can't imagine how dark his windshield must be. Like I said earlier I have 35% on mine and it's pretty dark. I'm kinda up in the air about getting the strip at the top. I like how clean it looks without it but having one makes your windshield look like it's not tinted (cause of the contrast). I'll probably play it safe and get one...

Anyone tint their sunroof? I know it's tinted from the factory but has anyone gone darker? I don't like sliding the cover back and forth too much cause it's so cheaply made, but I also don't like the amount of light that comes in when it's open.

i think theres a few others on there but u cant really tell.. 20% is nice, it feels alot darker, but its not dark to the point where i get overly woried when law enforcement rolls by
