Well in Lincoln there isn't any 6speed tranny I have to buy it online and have it sent to my place. It's about 900 dollars with 32k miles. My friends dad who's a mechanic said I should get an aftermarket or else I will be doing this again

Are you sure its the transmission? Could just be an issue with the shift cables, either at the shifter or at the point where they connect to the selector on top of the transmission. How does the shifter feel? (Normal, or is it all loose)?

It's super loose like I'll try to put it in where first is at and there nothing. The shifter would just spring back to the middle. Also if I like push hard Ito first you can learn a loud click

Double check your warranty, or your owner's manual. I could be wrong but shouldn't the tranny be covered under warranty for 5 years/50k miles.. most car companys back the drivetrain for longer than any other parts. Or call your nearest dealer. Just a thought.

Were there any symptoms leading up to this. Grinding, popping out of gears, how hard do you drive the car.. Usually you don't just have a catastrophic failure without issues leading up to it. But it can happen

Well I don't think it's the cables mainly because I heard a poop and the valve bushing are all reacting to when I shift there just no gears for it to catch. When this happened I had reverse and third. I wa able to drive I'm third but I was at a lake with a stop sign do I was doomed.. After that no gears. My mechanic looked at and said new tranny.

My third gear grinds depending on how I shift. I have grinded alot when I was learning how to drive it. I'm horrible in first gear. And one time while I was on a hill I stalled it and it made a pop noise

Yeah that can also help out. But right now I'm pretty stumped. Would a used tranny cause the same problem? Cuz I do have a pretty old flywheel along with the new clutch I bought when the clutch went out.
