the highest i've been brave enough to go in the tib was 125 but that was without my laughing gas on. i did go just over 140 in the passengers seat of my friends mustang unfortunately that experiance was shortly followed by going 75 or so through the air in a rolling mustang luckily we hit a tree before it went into the swamp. niether john or myself were hurt. bare in mind that tat the time of the crash there was a rollbar in the backseat also note the very bald tires. MISTAKE!!

I hit in between 135-140 on a 9 mile stretch on HWY 70 between New Bern and Kinston. Was racing a 3000 Gt. He kept up for quite a while but just couldn't pass me so he backed off. Also had a friend with me. It was very scary mostly because my enitre car was shaking. Guess it was time for a good balancing. LoL.

I pushed mine to 140-145 mp/h (230-240 km/h) on the highway one night, took a little while to get there lol but she was still pullin a bit. Stock V6 6 spd btw. I had to back out of it because of late night traffic.

I've had mine up to 125ish out in the desert. That's fun for about 20 seconds.

My '88 fiero's speedo only went to 85 - I was probably going about 100 when the vacuum outside pulled the window glass away from the body (the fiero windows were frameless, like the tib). Nothing like your ears popping unexpectedly at 100MPH. Scared the holy bejeesus out of me...

That;s funny! I'll never forget watching a chick loose a glass t-top in Charlotte one morning. We were going out to IHOP one morning and as I was pulling out onto Monroe Rd, I stopped and saw a red MR2 (mid 90' model), come flying down the road and I yes, Iwas admiring it. Next thing I knew....whoooosh ... up the t-top went, down it came and busted into a gazillion peices of small glass. All of us in the car were like Whoooooaaaa....not cool!

I've gotten my tib 5-speed all stock up to just over 125mph. Loved every fraction of a second of it lol. Where I live in Indiana it's nothing but straight country roads that are basically empty, so I usually have plenty of room to play... After going that fast though, I really feel the need for a cool air intake and a turbo kit. Just to see how much more fun I can have.

Which brings me to my next point.. Anyone have any suggestions on finding good performance parts when on a kind of stretched budget?

04 tib gt, i hit 152 i only have and intake this was clocked wit a speed gun. thats about as fast as u will be able to go... wit mostly stock parts.

my seedoo. 0-50 = 2.6 seconds and got 6 psi boost! ha 70 mph on water

and bicycle maxed down hill at over 40 yes have a speedo on bike !

and threw baseball other day to radar gun. got a mean 54 haha

It's "Sea-Doo" and going 70MPH on Water is accomplished by any Sea-Doo. I've easily reached 75MPH with my 97 GTX Sea-Doo.
